Our guide gave a wonderful history of Hungary while we travelled to the residence. Her knowledge on Sisi was equally wonderful. She had a good sense of humour. Pleased we went.

The Good Points - a taxi will bring you from your hotel to the pickup point if you confirm beforehand. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. The palace is very nice.
The Bad Points - The tour group was multilingual, so you have to wait around while each talk is repeated. The guide kept firing off lists of facts that few people were interested in. NO PHOTOS INSIDE ! Stupid considering very little furniture is original. The palace tour is around 3 hours with very few seats and no stopping until the end of the tour when there is a 15 minute rest for café or toilets. The grounds are plain but well kept and not photogenic.
Personally, I wished we had picked another tour.
