Good Dancers but Excellent Orchestra

This tango show was in a beautiful setting with good dancers and they performed a variety of tangos. We had seen one other show which was very good with maybe slightly better dancers but what differentiated this was the orchestra, especially the box accordion player. Apparently he has a long history of playing for tangos and besides being an outstanding musician, he was animated and just seemed to be having such a good time it rubbed off on the audience. Overall the food was satisfactory but the orchestra made this show stand out.

Excellent show, with great food

This show is available for those who don’t want to start an evening at 10pm. The atmosphere was very 20’s, the staff were attentive, the food was good, certainly better than we expected, and the show was incredible. A great mix of different dances, but lots of tango too!

You choose your dinner from a menu with a variety of choices, the strip steak was the most popular at our table , after eating the show started It was very enjoyable . Esp, after learning about the history of the dance and music .

Great fun, food was great, pick up efficient, great show, only marked it down because of our waiting staff in the restaurant who was quite rude & abrupt, told us beef cheeks wasn’t meat like we were stupid or something and I think we’d made the best choice, then half way through the show he was pestering us for tips.

Great dinner and show!

The driver, Alejandro, was exactly on time and we were the only ones in his car. He even offered to make an extra stop so that we could look at the famous El Ateneo bookstore. The dinner was delicious (much better than expected ) and we had fabulous seats front & center. The dancers, musicians and singer were all impressive and we enjoyed the show tremendously. Would definitely recommend.

Early Dinner and Tango Show.

The Tango Dinner and show was excellent. High energy entertainment with great dancing and singing. The only drawback was confusion regarding a change of venue. Viator notified us about that, but didn’t keep us posted about pickup time at the hotel and we didn’t know if the van would come to our hotel. Luckily, the hotel concierge contacted Viator and the van and guide arrived. Maria Enis was an excellent guide and gave us valuable information as we rode to the show. But we really didn’t know if there would be a van coming to pick us up and that was a worry with eight people having purchased tickets for the show. Also, Viator needs to make sure clients have downloaded What’s Ap since that is how clients can contact the tour company. It turned out to be a great evening, but lots of angst beforehand.

Horrible experience in Buenos Aires

We have used Viator in many cities around the world to book trips. Our exper In Buenos Aires was horrible! Our earlier trip of the city tour was canceled because the guide called in sick. The tango dinner tour we booked we waited for pick up for over an hour and no one showed up the concierge at the hotel called four times. At first we were told the car was on its way. An hour later we found out the driver was never told about picking us up and no one was coming. Unconscionable.

We got picked up at our hotel and driven to the venue. It was a beautiful theatre with lovely decor. Staff were great and the food was delicious. The tango show was fantastic. I would highly recommend this show.

This was a great booking. I thought the price was great for the round trip transportation from the hotel to the theater where the show took place. Once at the theater, the service and attention was excellent. The size of the theater was perfect for any seat you had and the performance eas exceptional. The food quality was also very good.

Small show but great routines Mediocre dinner; not bad wine Perfect time of the evening for anyone who can’t adjust to South American dinner snd night life hours Leo was kind enough to help cruise passengers go directly back to the ship rather than the pickup hotel (saving them an extra cab $ ride). For that I give him a big 👍🏻

Booked early dinner show with transfer Transfer was on time and seamless both directions Entry was quick and painless Dinner was quite good with lots of variety The performers were excellent and the show was about the right length of time Couple of negatives - only 3 working toilet cubicles for both male and female. Clearly not enough Seating very cramped and waiters brushing past constantly. The included drinks package was disappointing - one bottle of wine between 2 people a bit stingy. Would have ordered additional drinks and paid for them but difficult to get waiters attention after dinner

The show was only 1 hour. The venue was charming and the dancers good. The waiters made it hard to hear and see well. I cheaper to do our own dinner and take an uber there.

We purchase show only tickets. The price includes wine which I didn’t expect. The show started 30 minutes late. It seems to be normal for tango show. The show itself was wonderful, both music and dance performance were impressive.
