Being an exchange student I really wanted to experience a more cultural outlook on Buenos Aires and this trip gave me exactly that. With the weather being absolutely perfect it was just an amazing experience and learning about the mate was so interesting. If you in B.A do this very worth the money.
An enjoyable and relaxing day on the Don Silvano Ranch, from pick up, warmly greeted and welcomed onboard our bus to being greeted by the gauchos on the ranch and offered empinada's and wine. Enjoyed the horse ride around the ranch, you can opt for the horse and carriage ride instead. The mate tea making significance to Argentina was really interesting and delivered with fun and humour. You get to see the gaucho's showing off their skills and the bbq lunch was delicious, loved the musician Diego Arolfo, such talent. The entertainment and dancing was amazing, the atmosphere and whole experience was fun and the singer made the effort to sing songs from the visitors country, impressive! It was nice to wander around the ranch and take in its rustic beauty. Highly recommend a visit to the ranch and a nice way to experience the Argentinian culture, the gaucho's and staff were friendly, welcoming and treated us like one of the family.
When you arrive you are treated to homemade empanadas. A bit of history about the ranch and then you can go trail riding or in a carriage. Demonstrations about mate' drinking and hands on experience in sharing the cup. The lunch is good with different types of grilled meats, salad, vegetables, and dessert. After lunch, there is gaucho demonstrations and competition, Well worth the for this.
Entertaining and relaxing, nice guide and good food. Although a little bit overpriced I would recommend it.
Had great time! Particularly enjoyed the lunch, entertainment , and lessons on empenadas and mate.

Great fun, lovely ranch, nice calm horse ride. They had a little zip line for those who wanted to go. Gaucho show was fun. Loved the info lesson on Mate tea drinking, a national beverage and social institution. Food demos were also good. The lunch was excellent with a wonderful tango show and talented musicians and a great singer. He should be famous! Lots of delicious snacks throughout the day. We were the only Americans and it was wonderful to see all of the visitors from various countries in South America. The guides all spoke English very well. It was a wonderful and relaxing day. It is great to see get out of the big city, although the terrain is flat and not that interesting. Take a nap if you need to.
The tour itself was awesome but we were pretty angry we paid twice the price others in the group paid. Viator charged us $120 per person and friends we met that day paid the ranch the pesos equivalent of $35 each and $20 for the ride so $55 total... Not sure where the extra fees we paid went
A great day out on the pampas! Lovely guide, a geniune rustic experience of gaucho life, great food and wine, also very friendly help and info from the proprietors! Would recommend.
Great way to spend a day to learn about Argentinian Culture. If you can't ride a horse they have an open coach pulled by horses.Safe and fun.Plenty to eat and taste native foods.FUN!
Great show - great atmosphere - and really great food and wine and a lot of it - wowowo
Had loads of fun. The activities and the entertainment were great!!!!
This trip was actually cancelled but I was offered an alternative to visit Santa Susana Ranch - I was told this was the best ranch out of the 129 in the area. It did not disappoint - the horse ride was fantastic, the BBQ lunch was delicious and the afternoon entertainment of dancing, singing and the horse show were amazing. The ranch itself was in a beautiful setting - don't visit Buenos Aires without visiting a gaucho ranch
This tour was AMAZING! We had an unbelievable meal, got to go for a short ride on horseback, learned a lot about the gaucho life, and met many interesting people who clearly love what they do. Highly recommend this tour!
Great day out, everyone was really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Nice setting lots to see and do
The tour was amazing! You seriously get your bang for your buck! Food, transportation, informative guide, an AMAZING dance show, a guacho presentation. I lived every bit of the trip and highly recommend it. It's a great way to get out of the city and enjoy the simple life.
Great day out.We rode the horses and the Gauchos put on a great show. The Barbecue lunch was fabulous, plenty of drinks too.Highly recommended.
My friend and I had a fantastic day! We were worried it might be a bit cheesy and boring when we got there but it was an absolute blast. Full credit to all the team at Don Silvano Ranch. The grounds are wonderfully taken care off, the horse show is interesting, the food is tasty and the singer and dancers are thoroughly entertaining. I would highly recommend this day trip to people of all ages, from everywhere. Thank you for the great memories!
This day tour is a must to experience life on an Argentinian ranch! The meal and show (singing, dancing and tango as we enjoyed our meal) was a highlight but the welcoming empanada and red wine, the horse ride, the leisurely walk around the farm, drinking mate, watching in the kitchen as the staff explained the making of empanadas, to the riding exhibition that concluded the day meant that there was lots to see, do and experience and it gave you a real taste of rural life in bygone days on the pampas. We were particularly impressed that the staff always spoke to us in English even thought the vast majority of the guests were Spanish speaking. Great value for money and thoroughly enjoyable!
Very nice, I recommend it, you do not see much of a ranch and the gauchos are just playing around for you. But the day was nice, the food and a very nice show with local musicians and dancers. Very enjoyable.
What a wonderful day! Our guide was so knowledgeable and kept us entertained throughout the drive to the estancia. Once there, the gauchos and the staff couldn't have done more to make us feel at home and happy. Our guide gave us a tour (in English) of the main house, we took a wagon ride through the fields, lots people rode horses, and then we were treated to a great dinner and show. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Argentina.
