What You Can Expect

'We are Tango' Show in Buenos Aires with Front-Row Seating

Watch an intimate tango show from the front row

A live tango show is a quintessential Buenos Aires experience. Turn up the heat at 'We are Tango' with this intimate performance at one of the city’s smaller venues, located in the city’s Almagro neighborhood. Make your way to this minuscule milonga (dance hall), where a friendly host will greet you and show you to your front-row seat. Your host will be available throughout the night to answer any questions and teach you about the history of the famously difficult dance.
Enjoy a welcome drink before the show starts and, if you chose the Argentine picada upgrade option, snack on an assortment of empanadas, cured meats, cheeses and sweets. Unlimited regional wine throughout the evening adds to the romantic mood.
As a pair of dancers takes the stage just a few feet in front of you, get an amazingly up-close perspective on the razor-sharp footwork and passionate spins, dips and kicks of one of the world’s most passionate dances. A trio of live musicians provides accompaniment on the traditional tango instruments of guitar, double bass and bandoneon (similar to an accordion).
After the 1-hour show, follow in the footsteps of the dancers with a 40-minute group tango lesson. Learn some basic moves that you can try out at clubs and milongas across Buenos Aires.
