Disappointing Tigre Tour

Very disappointing ! Although our guide Jael was very nice and accommodating and she provided us with some background and we saw some historical bldgs , the main feature was the boat trip which had pre-recorded and very dull facts. At the end we were given 1 hour there in a very dull shopping area offering little to do - waste of time.

Carolina, our tour guide did a great job keeping everyone informed and pretty happy. The pick up at the port went smoothly and the time spent on the tour boat was fun. It was clean, there were drinks and snacks available for cash purchase (no credit cards). The Mercado was interesting we had great empanadas and alfajors that we purchased at Havana were delicious. All in all it was a terrific way to spend a day before we went off on our cruise!!!

It’s an overpriced tourist trap! I received a call that the tour was running five mins early and they arrived 27 mins late. After pickup we drove for ten minutes in a large circle around the neighborhood only to pickup more people not two blocks from where we just were. On arrival we were told we’d have some sightseeing time, but were instead herded directly onto a mundane river cruise. From the cruise we were bussed to the Puerto de Frutas market which is just a collection of (mostly closed) junk souvenirs stalls. There’s little to no shade, places to sit, or local cuisine, but there’s Havanas, Mostaza, and other fast food chain restaurants. After an hour we reboarded the bus and drove quickly through the interesting parts of town before getting to walk across the grounds of a closed museum. Probably the biggest waste of money tour I’ve ever been on. For much much much less I could have taken the train, picked a better river cruise, explored the actual town, and enjoyed local cuisine.

Quick trip to Tigre

Bus pick up with a quick tour of the Puerto neighborhood, then 2 hour ferry to Tigre’s down through the delta, absolutely beautiful. Then empanada lunch and free time at the fruit market, then bus home. Easy way to see Tigre.

Not a lot to do in that short of a time. It would be better to stay there longer to eat and actually visit the art museum that was closed. Relaxing boat ride though.

Nice boat ride out to the Tigre Delta after on time bus pick up The trip through the Delta seeing all the homes on the water was interesting The restaurant snack and ambience was very good. The beer was cold and tasty Everything was well organised and our tour guide (Faku) was great. Perhaps better to keep the group together on the boat as the guide had to visit each group separately to give information during the boat ride And though there was recorded commentary on the boat it was difficult to hear over people chatting Could have done without the 50 minute stop at the flea market (this is for locals not tourists) Would have been better to go to one of the museums that were pointed out to us as we drive past Easy 30 minute bus ride back to our hotel

A professionally run and organised tour from Buenos Aires harbour to Tigre including an hour boat cruise through the islands of the River Plate Delta. Everything from initial booking, through to updated communications including clear pick up instructions, along with knowledgeable and attentive guide and professional driver made this tour thoroughly enjoyable. This was a last minute tour prior to heading to airport. It was a lovely and relaxing way to spend the day. Sabrina our tour guide was knowledgeable, funny and a real pleasure. They were prompt in picking us an our hotel and making to get us back in time head to airport. Our driver did an amazing job managing the rush hour traffic. The little town was super cute with good eating and shopping opportunities. Very nice

There was nothing to see other than the delta - just Homes of people! Nothing much. The tour allows no time to see or explore Tigre. The famous fruit market was just some handicrafts shops that due to weekday were mostly closed! Wasted effort Our tour guide was amazing & made the trip entertaining with his stories
