Great views from the Skyrail and Railway. Best of all we learned how to throw a boom-a-rang!

Super valeu a pena.

We came to Cairns only for the Great barrier reef, but only because we had no idea there was so much to do in this area! We are very glad we went on this trip. We took an old train up the mountain and saw some really neat views. We did some shopping at the shops in Kuranda before the butterfly exhibit. Then we were taken to Rainforestation where they fed us a good for a buffet meal and gave us time to take a picture with a koala or a baby croc. We then went on a Duckboat tour. The tour was very neat and informative, although I wish it were a bit longer. We then went to watch an aboriginal dance show. I didn't like the show very much as we had seen a different and better one the night before from a different company. After the show, the dancers took us to learn about a didgeridoo, throwing spears, and we even got to through a boomerang! That was great! We then got to tour the animal enclosure where they had dingos, a giant saltwater croc named Jack, and a cassowary. They even had Kangaroo and wallabies hopping around free in the main area of the enclosure. One of the best parts of the whole trip though, was saved for the end. The bus dropped us off at the Skyrail station and we took the gondola over the rainforest and down the mountain. IT WAS AMAZING! I would definitely recommend this whole trip to anyone already going to Cairns!

This tour was really worth every penny spent and we did so many activities. The train ride and cable way return was both different experiences not to be missed. The butterfly park has a lot of show and so is the rainforest. The entire trip was very well organized.

A very full day with variety for everyone. Like culture? The aboriginal dances and demos were great. Animal lover? The little sanctuary had plenty of variety and holding a koala was awesome. Scenery buff? You can't beat the views from the train and the sky rail. Nature nut? The butterfly encounter was beautiful and the duck boat tour bouncy but interesting. Foodie? There is a very nice buffet with traditional and unique choices for everyone. Totally organized with a timed itinerary given to you to keep you on track. I would have loved another hour or two in Kuranda to visit the shops and the snake place but that would have made for an extremely long trip. I would definitely do this one again!

Really is the best! We got to see so much and had fun right from the beginning!
The whole day itself was organised very well, I like that we were given a timetable and everything was very straightforward. All that we did, we enjoyed without being rushed or spending too much time in one place.

This was a great day trip. Our guide was informative and engaging. The train ride up was spectacular, we got to hold our first Koala, fed the kangaroos, rode in a duck, threw a boomerang, and got to watch various Aboriginal dances. We topped off the day by flying over the rainforest canopy on the Skyrail. It was a great first day trip and really set the tone for a great vacation.

This was our 2nd visit to Kuranda. This time we did the army duck which was great fun, although it rained heavily adding to the fun. We also went around the butterfly sanctuary. Unfortunately the weather was wet and misty on our trip down on the skyrail but still a great experience
