This tour was really cool. They said you might want to bring a bathing suit and towel. You definitely want to do that b/c the first stop on the tour is the swimming in the river, which was really awesome. Totally recommend that. Our tour guide was great and the hiking around the rainforest and beaches there was really cool. We even got to see a cassowary in the wild, which was awesome. Lunch was good. Definitely recommend this tour.

My trip did not start too well: my instructions said to be collected at 730am but the bus came past my hotel at 715 whilst I was still stuffing my face with breakfast. However I was collected later and am I glad about that - the trip was awesome. Despite spending about 70 of the trip on a bus driven with amazing expertise on the very narrow roads, the sightings, flora and fauna, and the extensive knowledge of our tour guide all made for a very worthwhile and highly rewarding excursion. The eating arrangements were all prearranged by the driver en route, so when we arrived, the food was served with minimum delay. Living in desert conditions in Perth, WA, it was a real eye opener to see a sub tropical aspect of Australia which is so very different - especially the humidity. But the absolute beauty of the countryside, all natural and well protected from advancing civilisation gave me renewed faith in the human race.
Do yourselves a favour and forget about Bali - go to Cairns and surrounding beautiful places - you may pay a bit more, but you will be supporting Australians and in return your life will be enriched with real values of nature.

just wished my tour group was smaller...the particular day I went, was a full bus load 27 people. Otherwise was a pleasant experience, good introduction to the various attractions. the ice cream factory I felt was overrated.

Great day tour especially if you're in Cairns for a short time ! Pick up/drop off from your hotel/hostel. Our tour leader was nice and had a lot of knowledge. Mossman Gorge was beautiful, then while our guide took the bus on the Daintree ferry we jumped on a boat with another tour guide and got to see crocodiles, went up the Cape Tribulation beach and had a very nice lunch break litteraly on the sand, walked in the mangrove. If you don't mind the drive, great tour ! Thanks guys !

I had a great time !
The Mossman Gorge is beautiful. I discovered the rainforest, learned a lot about it, thanks to our guide and driver, and even saw a cassowary with its baby in the wild !
Our guide was awesome, knows a lot about the area, and gave us a lot of interesting explanations about everything we saw.
I recommend !
