We had a great experience. The only drawback was it was overcast and limited our crocodile viewing. Our guide was passionate about his topics and very informative. We had a marvelous lunch at the Daintree Tea Room. The food was great and the tropical fruit lecture was fascinating!
It was a long day but well worth it. My tour only had five people so more about each person. Enjoyed the entire day.
Fantastic tour with the most amazing scenery. Terry our guide was so knowledgeable.
Spectacular countryside. The tour guide very knowledgeable. The lunch was excellent. This was a great tour including the eating of green ants!
It was a great day filling trip. We drove on one of the scenic highways of Australia and the view was amazing. The places where we stopped were also very nice, usually with great views. I also loved the location where we had lunch in the middle of the rainforest. It was also very nice that the chef explained us everything about the food while we were eating and the food was good too. Definately worth going on this tour if you want to see a lot of the beautiful scenary and the rainforests.
The Daintree Rainforest is an amazing tour. From the rainforest to the cruise down the river, you're in for a treat. Our tour guide was nice, knowledgable, and even able to answer the myriad of questions he was hit with. All of the views he showed us were spectacular.
The only thing we weren't fans of on this tour was all the time spent on the bus. We were lucky enough to have a good group with us, but it becomes a bit boring toward the end. But what can you do?
If you're heading up north to see The Great Barrier Reef, Daintree Rainforest is a good tour to consider. It's worth an additional day there.
I really liked this tour! I was picked up quite late, but the company ensured me it was merely a delay and nobody forgot me. Had a nice road trip along Port Douglas nice view!, to Mossman. Our guide always asked us what we preferred if we had a choice, allowing us to spend a little more time at the places we really liked. The Mossman gorge was not that special, but I liked the walk to get there, through the rainforest. The lunch at the Daintree Tea House was really nice, and the owner explained in detail a lot about all the different kinds of fruit on our plate. During the boat trip on the river, we saw two crocodiles, of which one was enormous. Very nice to see from up close.
The walk to Cape Tribulation was nice too, seeing plenty of animals including a python eating a bush turkey. I wished to have spent more time on beautiful Cape Tribulation beach, but unfortunately we had to head back already after some 10 minutes. I would have loved to have a little bit more time everywhere, but all in all, it was definitely worth it.
A tour which is worth to do thought it is not that much entertaining as half of the time you will spend in the bus. Meanwhile scenery is great and the lunch in wetlands and soaking in the waterfall water are enjoyable. Also you may get quite a lot of information about this part of the world from the guide who is quite informative.
Our tour guide, Terry, made this trip worth its weight in gold! He was aware of every aspect of the surroundings and gave continuous facts and opinions on both the area and conservation. He was the real deal and made my trip even more special!
The scenery was beautiful. Daintree showed lots of beauty, however, I'm sure at other times of the year it looks even more breathtaking. A beautiful little monitor lizard walked by us seeming very unfazed that we were there. But to see it, to me, made my day! Saw a few crocks on the Daintree River which was very cool.
A great way to see the sights! I highly recommend if you do not have a car to get yourself around.

There is a lot of driving in this tour. The guide was a ton of fun but you see Daintree through the drive or through the Mossman Gorge stop. In that respect it is different than your typical tour. If you have never seen a rainforest this is a great way to do it. However, having seen a number Daintree doesn't really stand out to me. The big thing here is the chance to see a cassowary or crocodile in their natural environments. We got extremely luck and saw the former but that is a once a month, or once every few months thing. Height of summer is not the time to go looking for crocodiles. The wildlife cruise turned up one bird and absolutely nothing else.
a great day - a great tour leader - we very lucky enough to see a cassowary dad and three chicks running across the road - apparently this is very rare - this trip is highly recommended
Visited some great places but a very rushed day so didn't get enough time in my opinion to take in what the different places had to offer.
