  • 1.5-hour helicopter tour of the Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef from Cairns
  • Enjoy spectacular aerial views of the UNESCO-listed Great Barrier Reef
  • Marvel at the Barron Gorge, Mossman Gorge, and the Daintree River from above
  • Great-value tour includes hotel pick-up
  • Small-group tour limited to six people ensures a personalized experience
Begin your tour with pick-up from your Cairns, Palm Cove or Northern Beaches hotel and a short ride to the helicopter hanger at Cairns Airport. After a quick safety briefing and helicopter orientation, hop aboard and take off over Cairns.

Head west over the dramatic canyons and waterfalls of the Barron Gorge, before tracking north to swoop along the coast to Port Douglas. Continue over the UNESCO-listed rainforest of the Daintree National Park, following the route of the Daintree River through the Mossman Gorge, and looking out for crocodiles swimming in the waters below.

Then, turn back towards the coast and soar over the vast coral reefs and tropical islands of the Great Barrier Reef. Listen to your pilot’s live on-board commentary as you glide over reef systems such as Oyster, Hastings, Batt and Tongue Reefs, and snap photos of landmarks like Snapper Island and Upolu Sand Cay.

Finally, return to Cairns airport, where a driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.
