A Trip of a Lifetime to the Pyramids

Our tour to the pyramids, Memphis, Sakkara and Dahshur was fantastic! The most memorable (with the exception of the Giza Pyramids) was Sakkara. Our Tour Guide, Mario, stopped along the road to get us fresh figs, which were delicious. Seeing the statues, hearing the history from our guide, understanding the time and effort spent to build the tombs and temples all added to the feeling of awe and wonder. The Giza Pyramids were the icing on the cake. While we wandered around the pyramids it began to rain, which is not a common occurrence. Once the rain stopped, the sun came out and highlighted the pyramids. Two of our party were able to go inside one of the pyramids which was a chance of a lifetime. The three of us rode camels, which is highly recommended. We had a fantastic, unbelieveable day that will not be soon forgotten.
Driver showed up 35 minute late

I booked this tour with an option of only a driver, no guide. A driver showed up 35 minute late. After waiting for 35 minute at hotel lobby, by the time when we finally arrived at Giza pyramid, Giza pyramid was very crowded. If we could have arrived 35 minutes earlier, we might be able to avoid a crowd. His car has a different company logo, not emo tour logo so I wonder whether Emo tour forgot about this booking. A driver did not speak any English, so it was very difficult to communicate with him. Sakkara has multiple locations to visit, however, a driver tried to finish a tour after seeing one location at Sakkara.

The tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. I highly recommend him. Plus I had done a lot of research on Giza, Memphis, Saqqara and Dashur, so I was very satisfied.

No nos gustó el tour. Primero llegaron una hora tarde a buscarnos. Nos dijeron que pasaban a las 8h y pasaron a las 9h. Luego el conductor fue grosero y manejo de manera imprudente. Para coronar, no le gustó la propina que le dejamos y subió hasta el hotel para vernos y reclamarnos. Nos hizo pasar un momento horrible. En cuanto al guia, estaba enfermo, no paraba de toser y transpirar. Ello determinó que a cada lugar que nos llevana nos apuraba y nos daba poco tiempo para disfrutar. Esta reseña la estoy haciendo dos días después y mi novia está con toz y fiebre, por lo que sospechamos que el nos contagio. En fin. Muy malo el servicio, no lo recomiendo.
