What a fantastic trip. I got to do everything I wanted including a couple things that was not on the program. My guide was very good. He was upbeat and had a great knowledge of Cairo history. I must admit I really enjoyed him. Overall, I will definitely use Viator for all my travels. They provided great service.

Outstanding service!!! Punctual, polite, safe and very informative tour. Knowledgable guide who is very friendly and flexible. Courteous and safe driver through the busy streets of Cairo. Lunch that was included was a delicious variety of local dishes along the route of the tour. They were able to make slight changes to widen our experience in Egypt. Would highly recommend this company and tour to everyone!!!

Private Full Day Tour: Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Sakkara and City of Memphis | Feb 2020
I enjoyed my tour with Hamdee. He made the day really special. It was my 30th birthday and he went above and beyond to make sure it was a good day! The only thing I would change was to go to less little shops. We went to the carpet school. The papyrus institute and the perfume place. I would prefer to not go to these.

Nile River Dinner Cruise with Egyptian Show | Sep 2019
At first the tour was great! Sherif was our tour guide. He started out great, the van was nice, the conversation was great and then it went downhill once we arrived to the boat. The boat was running late, but instead of telling us that the boat was running late he offered to take pictures for us. When we asked what was taking so long we weren’t given a good answer. Then he started to ask for a review, before the trip had even started. I counted that he asked over 7 times, and only turned on the WiFi for us so that we could check our messages to see if the review link was posted. The food was just okay, the best part about the night was the belly dancer and the male entertainment

The tour was decent. But, we spent too much time at shops instead of the historical sites. Avoid the tourist traps.

Private Full Day Tour: Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Sakkara and City of Memphis | Dec 2018
We had booked this Viator tour online and it was assigned to Egypt Direct by Viator. Egypt Direct is a very professional Company. Our Guide, Ms Maha, was at the hotel lobby exactly at the agreed time with a placard of our name. They had provided a dedicated car and a driver for the entire tour. Ms Maha is a young, energetic, enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide She managed the time very well, understood our requirements and was fluent in communication. We covered all the four attractions (Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Sakkara and Memphis) within the agreed time frame without rushing or hurrying anywhere. The restaurant where we were taken for lunch was also a good experience. They played traditional music while entering or leaving the restaurant. They served vegetarian food. More importantly the food is unlimited and you can always ask for more. I will strongly recommend Egypt Direct as tour operator as they were called before and after the tour to ensure that everything was in order and if we were satisfied. I will also recommend Ms Maha as guide because of her job knowledge, hospitality, mannerism and dedication.

Private Tour: Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut Temple, Luxor and Karnak Temples from Luxor Airport | Sep 2018

BOY bring a wet towel to stay cool, Valley of the Kings we go in 3 tombs which you pick, I could have skipped Queen Hatshepstu Temple but Luxor and Karnak Temples are the best. Our guides were young and seem to just want to get done. I could have stayed at Karnak but gosh it makes a long day with such amazing temples.

Private Full Day Tour: Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Sakkara and City of Memphis | Aug 2018

My tour guide Nasser and driver, Yousry from Kenner Egypt travel were AMAZING!! Nasser was extremely knowledgeable on all the sites and was pleasantly protective when dealing with over zealous merchants and extremely helpful in making sure my tips were appropriate. He was very flexible with the tour and always made sure I was enjoying my day. The driver was dependable and skillful in navigating the busy streets of Cairo, he always dropped us right in front of the attractions and was was there as soon as we stepped out. I was nervous traveling by myself but these two were the perfect guides, highly recommend. If you take a camel ride at the pyramids, Sheriffe and his amazing camel Pepsi are the only way to go.

Private Day Tour to Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Coptic Cairo and Saint Simon Church in Cairo | Jun 2018

This was a special tour for ourselves and our daughter who is based in Egypt. The tour was recommended by one of her friends. The tour allowed us to see many sights in one day making the most of our time in Cairo. Nasser and his driver were exceptional. Nassers knowledge was invaluable and he was extremely kind and respectful and didnt rush us. My wife is a diabetic and he was very considerate of her condition. He brought the tour alive for us and he and his driver enabled us to see the most incredible rock carvings at St Simon Church, which we wouldnt have found on our own. The pyramids were an unforgettable sight - make sure you have plenty of water, as it gets very hot and a hat for fair skinned people.
A thousand thanks to Nasser and his driver. We highly recommend this trip !!!

Private Tour: Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut Temple, Luxor and Karnak Temples from Luxor Airport | Apr 2018

My brother and I had a great time on our tour. We landed at the airport and were greeted by our guide just outside the airport doors. We were then picked up by a private car and transported through both East and West banks of Luxor enabling us to see all the major sites and attractions in just one day. The tour included a delicious, large, multi-course lunch at a covered rooftop restaurant with views of the Nile river. Our guide was very accommodating and very knowledgeable, he was able to answer any and all of our questions throughout the entire tour. When the tour was concluding our guide made arrangements to accommodate our downtime as we had a late flight. Could not have been a better experience, highly recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Luxor for a day!

Half-Day tour to Egyptian Museum of Pharaonic Antiquities | Jan 2018

The museum is a must-see and a guide is critical, as nothing is labeled. Our guide did a nice job of focusing us on key items and areas, not a small feat given the huge facility and number of holdings. This experience would have been enhanced had his English been stronger.

Private Full Day Tour: Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Sakkara and City of Memphis | Jan 2018

As two ladies travelling together ,we requested that we would like a lady guide. Our guide, Maha, was delightful and informative. We were interested in the architecture and the terrain and Maha absolutely concentrated on this. Our lunch, which she had arranged was delicious and she also arranged that we stop for fresh mango juice. We could not recommend her more highly.

Nile River Dinner Cruise with Egyptian Show | Dec 2017

This was a fun couple of hours. There was a good variety of food. The belly dancer and whirling dervish were enjoyable. A typical tourist attraction, but certainly worth the price. The boat could have used some refurbishing. And the restroom was really sub-par. There are more than one company that offer these Nile dinner cruises. This one was provided by Kemet Eqypt Travel. I might look for one that is higher rated if I were to do this again.

Full-Day Private Tour: Historic Alexandria From Cairo | Nov 2017

This was not the tour we expected. We wanted to go inside the Library in Alexandria. Our guide told us that there is nothing to be seen in the Old Alexandra Library. Instead of viewing the Library we stopped for ice cream and local bananas. Please find another tour than this, it was a waste of our money 375.00 and our time. Roxie B.
