Our tour started a little late, but once we got on the way we were excited to touch the very blocks that were the foundation and corner stone of the Giza Pyramids. They were amazing and left us in awe of their magnitude and wondering how did the ancient Egyptians carry these blocks that weighed tons to build the massive structures. As we were viewing the Giza periods Mamdouh was very informative in sharing his knowledge about the pyramids. We then went to Sakkara to see the step pyramids followed by Memphis where the statue of Ramses II was greater than life; seeing the key main pyramids that are a must see in Cairo. Then we went through Sakkara and learned about the dichotomy for which the Egyptians live, where on one side they have the lushness of Sakkara and on the other the dryness of the desert and Giza. We also got to visit one of the carpet schools in Sakkara for which they are known for. It was another amazing trip with a great tour guide Mamdouh, who was humorous and a driver Arafa that was safe. However, This trip could have been improved if we did not feel rushed when we were trying to take pictures at some of the sites and if we were able to eat lunch as oppose to going from 10 AM to close to 4PM without having lunch. Though the guide had good intentions in showing and sharing his knowledge, it was a long day without having something to eat. Otherwise, they were great.

EXCELLENT TOUR WITH THIRD GENERATION tour guide Hala. Very knowledgeable, high energy, friendly, knows how to schedule day and access to avoid lines and crowds. Female. Prompt hotel pickup and return. Cairo can be overwhelming, Emo Tours and Hala and her driver make it comfortable. Go!
We had an excellent tour with a superb guide who was most knowledgeable about Egypt, past and present. He spoke excellent English and responded to our interests. Our driver was careful and competent. Our camel ride was beyond expectations. Lunch was a delight. An added bonus was the guides’ creativity in photographing us at various sites. Overall, the best day in Egypt!
Our guide was Mohammad who was in the hotel lobby on time and was an excellent, very knowledgeable, pleasant person . Special precaution when you have lunch in the open places which are very busy with tourists. No assurance on food safety. Both me and my daughter got a severe diarrhea possibly after having lunch at these places. Otherwise the tour was excellent.
I booked this trip last minute as a solo traveler - it exceeded my expectations. I was able to tick off the big sights in Cairo in one go - with absolutely no hassles. My guide Yousef Mas was knowledgeable, kind and passionate. The driver Ahmed was wonderfully warm and friendly. Together they made for a great trip. I learnt just enough to make it a memorable trip, no questions went unanswered, and nothing was too much trouble. Worth every penny! I never imagined booking a tour could be this easy and this professional. TOP MARKS FOR EMO TOURS!
This tour was very educational. Our tour guide Hala (I think) was very knowledgeable about the history of the different places we visited. The driver was really nice too. Lunch (except drinks) was included and very delicious. Hala even bought us snacks and bottled water. The camel ride was not included which cost us 350 Egyptian pounds each.
It was a fabulous day tour. We were taken to all the places we expected. We were picked up on time form eth hotel. Our guide Lamia went out of her way to give us a detailed guide to places we visited and was very helpful. Very happy with the value of the tour and would recommend this highly.
