Saqqara is rich with the history of...

Saqqara is rich with the history of the Old Kingdom and it was really interesting to see some of the tombs. I would advise reading up on some of the tombs before going so you can really appreciate what you see. Taking pictures may end up costing you so do find out if it's OK beforehand. The quad bike adventure was really enjoyable the view of the pyramids while riding through the desert was great. The desert is really rocky so don't expect to be able to speed through but it's still a really good time. The tour guides were very friendly, helpful and informative and with wifi available in the minivan, there wasn't much else to ask for.
