Pyramids Sound and Light Show with Private Transport

Pyramids Sound and Light Show with Private Transport

After an early evening pickup from your central Cairo or Giza hotel, travel directly to the Giza plateau in the comfort of your own private, air-conditioned vehicle.

Enjoy the views of Cairo at dusk as you travel, and on arrival, bid goodbye to your driver and take your seat for the incredible 1-hour sound and light show.

Watch as the Great Sphinx — the massive statue of a mythical human-headed lion that fronts the pyramids — is suddenly illuminated. The Sphinx will act as the 'storyteller' for the show, narrating a distilled history of Egypt and the pharaohs who built the pyramids via a dramatic soundtrack.

As the story of ancient Egypt unfolds, admire the brilliant laser lights and rainbow-colored projections that light up the pyramids, Mummification Temple and Sphinx in a multitude of hues, symbols and hieroglyphs.

Hear how and why the pyramids were constructed, and take snaps of the visual extravaganza as the narrated soundtrack builds in drama to finish with rousing music and a captivating final crescendo.

After the show, reconvene with your private driver and ride back to Cairo or Giza with no other stops to drop off other passengers. Your experience then ends with a drop-off at your hotel.

The show lasted an hour and the history of ancient Egypt was told throughout. This wasn't just lighted pyramids but with images displayed on the pyramids whilst the story unfolded. Excellent night. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Stupid me, I thought this was going to be a rock laser show like Pink Floyd in the US :-)
It was a multi-media event that was both entertaining and educational.

I booked the Sound and Light Show at Giza with pickup from and return to our hotel. Mohammed arrived promptly at the arranged time, took us right to the entrance gate, told us the best place to be seated and was waiting for us at an arranged point after the show. Both he and the driver were really friendly, prompty and helpful, therefore I wouldn't hesitate to refer people to Viator.

Light show was awesome but having a guide was a waste if money. Show is in English so no need for guide at all (they don't come in with you anyway) If was to go again I would just get a taxi. Pretty poor communication from viator -in fact I never did get a response from viator and ended up ringing the local guide directly.
Light show was wicked though!!
