What To Expect

Your private Lake Tahoe sleigh ride starts on the Nevada side of the state line, just across the border from California. Hop aboard your handmade sleigh, which varies in size depending on the number of people in your party; sleighs range from 2- to 20-seaters.

Pile on the provided blankets and snuggle up with your friends or loved one for your 1-hour horse-drawn ride across the snowy terrain of southern Lake Tahoe. Your private driver-guide will tell you stories about Tahoe’s history and landmarks while you soak up the winter wonderland scenery. Feel free to sing holiday carols, if the mood strikes you, or just listen to the sound of the horse’s hooves on the ground.

You’ll travel along parts of the Pony Express trail and stop by Friday’s Station, a National Historic Landmark that was once a Pony Express inn.

Note: All rides are subject to change in the case of extreme weather conditions.
