Well organized event. We took Chichen Itza/Xplor trip. The female guide on the bus keep us entertained the whole trip to Chichen Itza, and very knowledgable about the Mayan culture. Very good. The male guide for our Chichen Itza tour explain the site and history ok, but was a little bit boring like a professor lecturing the history lesson in the classroom... He was not too bad, just not too entertaining. Still, i will give a 5 stars for this trip.
For Xplor trip, If you like nature plus adventure, this IS the place you should not miss!!. The trip gives more than enough time to enjoy all the activities 2 lines of ziplines, swimming in the stalactite-filled river, rafts, circuits with amphibious vehicles, as well as the lunch buffet DELICIOUS!!! The underground cave filled with stunning rock formations that takes thousands of years to reach this points.
the river flow through and we are swimming and rafting in between. That was an amazing feeling!! Also, the way the ziplines are designed, you don't have to figure out what is next when you finish one, it automatically lead you to the next one, and it ends at the starting points. What a genius design!! The buffet restaurant open from 11a to 5p, and you can go in as many time as you want, and eat as many as you like. Locker, shower, restaurant....all provided with your convenience. You get soak and wet during the whole activities, and at the end of the day, you get to clean up and change to a comfortable dry clothes. That is the best feeling. I highly recommend this part for all the adventurists!
Amazing tour! I did this tour with my boyfriend this Monday and it was perfect. We had a group of 9. It wasn't too big nor too small, perfect size. Pick up time for this tour is pretty early but its well worth the early am wakeup call. Our tour guide, Oscar was very informative and gave us really cool facts about the Tulum Ruins. After about an hour of keeping up with the tour guide, they gave us about an hour to roam around ourselves. It was pretty crowded and very hot so we took some pics by the beach. Some people actually went down in the beach, but we didn't because we didn't want to get wet after. Thankfully, we were given some umbrellas to help shade us from the hot sun. After the Tulum tour concluded, we were able to have a tequila tasting small shots, not normal ones. SUPER GOOD! bring cash for tip and also to shop around in the Mexican outlet, it had very good prices. After, the cenote was the best part of the trip! Bring water shoes since we didn't and got our expensive shoes ruined. Super cold but worth it. The lunch was ok but for the price, it wasn't bad.The beach that they took us to is actually top 10 on the best Cancun beaches so defiantly go in! This was a great tour and I would have done another tour with them if we had the time. Perfect for families and couples alike. They provided us with iced cold waters, snacks bananas and cookies, and a cold towel after the ruins!
Plenty of sights for the money. Cheaper than the tours offered by the resort too!
We did the Xplor and Chichen Itza tours over two days. Everyone enjoyed both adventures. We had a child as young as 6 who was able to participate and enjoy everything. Well run operations. Warning: Viator will tell you to contact for transportation arrangements 24 hours in advance but that is wrong. The operator wants confirmation 48 hours in advance. They were able to work with me anyway and we got it done but I had to log some phone time with the operator.
This was a fantastic 2 days. Xel-Ha is beautiful, a great place to swim and snorkel, run by a great tour company. Chichen Itza is a wonderful glimpse into history and if you've never seen a pyramid is a must see. I went with my sister and as 2 women touring together felt safe and cared for. The lunch on the bus and the knowledgeable tour guide made the rather long trip go faster. This bus company is really organized.
This was a great combo tour. We went to Chichen Itza on May 4th, 2017. Our guide was Margo and our driver was Ariel. Margo was extremely knowledgeable about the Mayan history, and very respectful of the Mayan culture as well. She was friendly and helpful. If you can ask for a guide for this trip, she is amazing!
We went to Xel-Ha on Frida, May 5th. This place is so much fun, and there is so much to see and do, you need two days. It's probably worth it to purchase the pictures at the end of the day, I wish we had!
I really appreciated how well organized and how much all your staff care about every single person who is taking part in this journey. From the time we were picked up to the time we arrived back to our destination every person was very understanding. We did both Xcaret and Chichen Itza. The water park was wonderful and our tour guides were very knowledgeable. The Chichen Itza trip is for those that can do a hike so I dont recommend it for the elderly or those who do not appreciate exercise. I would have liked the second trip to end with a pool or activity because it was very hot. I loved it and am very happy with my services and your awesome staff.
We did Xplor and Chichen Itza. Chichen Itza is truly inspiring and magical, our guide was incredible. Very long day but very worth it around 2 hours at chichen Itza then lunch at a lovely restaurant then viewing local things. Xplor was great fun, don't forget waterproof shoes and biodegradable sun cream. We paid for the photo package but it wasn't amazing. Otherwise a great two days!!!!
We did the Xplor and Chichen Itza combo tour and it was beyond amazing! The tour was actually provided by Experiencias Xcaret and I have never seen such a tour handled with such great detail. Our guide for Xplor was Sandra and she gave us all the information we needed just before we arrived at the site. For Chichen Itza, we had Jorge who was very knowledgable about the history not only of the Yucatan Peninsula but of the whole country. We were constantly provided with facts, food, cold bottled water, umbrellas and even disposable cold face wipes! The personal communicators that were provided was also a plus as we didn't have to strain to hear what Jorge was saying all throughout the Chichen Itza tour. After that tour we proceeded to the town of Valladolid where we had our buffet lunch at their very own beautiful restaurant, a short walk from the town plaza. After that we then went on to a huge cenote in the middle of the town. We're really very glad to have taken this tour. It was just perfect!
This tour was amazing. The food involved was great. Tour guides fun and knowledgeable about the sites. We especially enjoyed Xel-Ha.
We did the Chcien Itza and Xel-ha combination. Both tours were great. I highly recommend this tour if you plan on doing some excursions outside of the resorts. All tours take up a full day. You can expect to come back to the hotels between 6-8pm. I would definitely pick Chichen Itza as one of the tours as it is more of a cultural experience. The other three are all activity based and somewhat fall under the same category. We chose to do Xel-ha based off recommendations from friends. Xel-ha has a fair mixture of relaxation and adventure which was perfect for us. I loved that it was all inclusive eat and drink, which made additional expenses less of a hassle. The park itself is beautiful and HUGE. There's so much to explore and take in. Great for couples and families.
Chichen Itza was amazing! Bring some pesos for all the vendors cause they are everywhere! Be prepared to have a mixed tour of Spanish and English. Xcaret was wonderful! Bring your own snacks! Great variety for everyone. The show was great to stay for! Loved the turtle hatchery!
Great food and entertainment. Excellent facilities and staff. Definitely a place to enjoy when in Cancun.
An absolute must do!!! Both parks exceed expectations by a huge amount, 2 fun filled, tiring days, but an absolutly amazing experience
We did Chichen Itza and Xel-ha combination. Both tours were amazing and well worth the money. The tour company picked us up on time if not early for both trips and really looked after us for both days. Despite the heavy rain at Chichen Itza we really enjoyed it. Would definately recommend.
Xel-Ha was fantastic! Well worth the money in my opinion. We loved that you could purchase a photo package as we didn't bring any water proof cameras. Photos were wonderful and great color too! Food was great and having all you can drink beverages helped on the very hot day we were there. Loved the interaction with the dolphin but the trainer did seem a bit rude at times. Kids loved the snuba dive with the fish. Overall a great park to visit, but you have to love the water and swimming, otherwise you might get bored. Not able to go to Xcaret this visit, but hoping our next trip we will be able to make it. Xplor was wonderful too! I could have spent all day doing their awesome zip lines. The cave or under ground swimming was quite relaxing. Rafts were a struggle at times as those hand paddles are hard to use, but it was fun. This park also had the picture package available for purchase which was nice, but unlike Xel-Ha, we had a lot of photos of people who were not part of our group. That was disappointing. Xel-Ha scanned a bracelet before a picture was taken, Xplor used some type of sensor in the helmet you wore in the park, so I guess if someone was close to you, your photo ended up in their package and vice versa. Anyway, the food was fantastic! Both parks were all you could eat. Overall I think well worth the price of admission to both parks. Disney has nothing on these parks! They could learn a thing or two from Xel-Ha and Xplor. Thank you for a wonderful time. I only wish I lived closer so I could go more often.
We loved both tours, xcaret was my personal favorite because I love water, so we swam all day and we walked the entire park. Chichenitza was very educational but it was a very hot day, all in all it was well worth it, the people that were in charge of the tours were great, friendly and helpful!!!
it was truly a wonderful trip,my wife and I felt we were literally in PARADISE!!!
