Make your way to a marina on the Boulevard Kulkulcan, where you’ll be welcomed aboard the galleon Columbus, a historic replica sailboat with two masts, square sails, and plenty of comfortable space on deck.
Toast the evening with a drink from the open bar, which is fully stocked with Mexican favorites, and listen to live music from the onboard saxophonist. Sailing on the Nichupté Lagoon means you’ll have unobstructed views of sunset over the Yucatan Peninsula, and if you’ve booked an evening sail, you’ll watch the first stars appear over the water.
Sit down to a full dinner: one-pound (450-gr.) lobster tails are served with steamed vegetables, butter, and garlic, “surf and turf” includes 8-ounce (225 gr.) portions of lobster and steak, and a vegetarian option is also available. At the end of your 2.5-hour dinner cruise, the galleon Columbus returns to the original departure point, close to the hotels, clubs, and beaches that line the Boulevard Kulkulcan.
