What To Expect

Sail across the blue Caribbean waters under the power of the wind on this catamaran tour from Playa del Carmen. After hotel pickup, board your luxury boat at the marina by the Puerto Aventuras resort.

As your captain cruises along the Riviera Maya coastline, relax on the deck and admire the scenery: upscale hotels, isolated beaches, and wildlife in the sea.

Drop anchor at Inah Reef, a top snorkeling destination. Jump in the water with your snorkel gear, or try stand-up paddleboarding. With large coral formations and an abundance of marine life, this is an underwater sanctuary that should not be missed.

Worked up an appetite? Enjoy a gourmet lunch and refreshing drinks from an open bar on board. Your tour ends with return transport to your hotel.

Traveler Tips

Pick up was on time, snorkeling was fun, the food and drinks were perfect.
Due to bad weather with choppy waters we were not able to scuba dive :( However, we had an extra long catamaran ride and 3 hours at the town.

Fabulous catamaran and snorkeling excursion!

This was one of my favorite experiences in Mexico so far! The tour guide was fun, and of course the water was amazing. I had fun snorkeling with a great group of people. Lunch was very good, and the margaritas were delicious! Fabulous!

The weather was extremely windy and the sea totally choppy. We could not do anything, we were not able to snorkel nor swim in the sea; it was simply impossible to achieve the purpose of the trip. The crew was excellent, they did their best given the sea conditions. After that ride (half of the passengers sick) the food and drinks were not that desirable. Honestly I expected that after such bad experience we would be offer another day the Catamaran ride at a discount but nobody did anything. Quite disappointed.

We missed our mornng pick up, we were going by pickup time on initial booking, we were not contacted for any new pickup time so we had to take the afternoon trip. The weather was terrible, provider should have canceled, it poured on us until we got to the snorkel area, so everyone was cold and wet. Luckily the water was warm. we snorkeled for a short time around the reef, the weather had stirred things up so visibility was not great. Lunch was decent however they had it prepared leaving the dock when they could have waited. Overall it was a decent trip, the crew was nice and friendly, but as I said the weather is a huge factor and it would have been better just to cancel than take us out into a huge storm.

The boat ride and crew were great! Snorkeling away from the boat was limited to 30 minutes and we wish we would have been allowed to enjoy more time in the ocean.

The snorkeling was by ar the best part. The food option was very disappointing but we went for the snorkeling. Saw a stingray which was a highlight. The service was excellent throughout though

Luis, Angel, Martin & Jesus were great. We left port in the pouring rain and were uncomfortable starting the trip, only to be rewarded with parting clouds, perfect reef snorkeling, paddle boarding, and a gorgeous boat ride back to port. Luis & crew dealt with adversity flawlessly and were great hosts.

Great experience!!! Wonderful customer service!! We got picked up and dropped off at our hotel, the catamaran was huge with lots of seating. The food was pretty good, with vegetarian options. The drinks are unlimited with many many options to choose from. We would definitely go again!! The only thing I would want in the future is more shaded seating. Everything else was great!

The entire experience was amazing! The trip to the boat and back was't bad. The crew was amazing! The view and the weather was incredible. The crew treated us like royalty. AND my fiance and I got engaged on the boat so it was extra special! They brought out Champaign and shots for us to celebrate (: Now we are taking our family on the boat when we go out for our wedding!!

Great experience from hotel pick up to drop off. The guides were friendly and the service was amazing. We got to snorkel among the sea turtles and sting rays and felt well cared for the entire experience.

The trio was great! The crew was even better. Kept the partying flowing & aswell as the drinks lol food was good too. Def worth the tip! We will be coming back! My wife wanted to spend her birthday on the water & she enjoyed it.

The crew was very friendly and accommodating. The boat was nice, and the snorkeling was definitely the highlight of the trip. Saw lots of fish, an eel, and a sting ray. The living reef was beautiful. Lunch was very good. The main reason I rate it low is because it’s really just a glorified booze cruise. If that’s what you are looking for, then you will love this. I, however, was with my family and didn’t need to see couples nearly having sex on the deck of the boat.

Fun afternoon on the water

Overall we had a really great time! The boat was beautiful, the food was good, the drinks were flowing, and the vibes were great! My fiancé had never snorkeled before so I was there was more instruction for him, but this is a super fun tour. The hotel transfer was easy and it was a beautiful afternoon! Definitely party vibes though, wouldn’t recommend for younger children.

This tour was awesome! The weather was a bit on edge so there were only 6 of us. There were unlimited drinks, the food was on point (chicken pasta was cold but still good), and the crew and the guide were excellent! We snorkeled along the reef and saw tons of fish and a few stingrays. The water was pretty murky due to a tropical storm that passed through the night before but it was still great! There was cloud cover for the trip out and while we snorkeled and the sun came out while we boated back. It caught us off guard and we all burned pretty bad, so make sure to layer up on sunscreen. A lot of sunscreen.

A great day out on the water

Our entire group enjoyed this activity, including those that were a little nervous about getting seasick. The boats handled the choppy water very well and didn't concern our group. The choppy waters did stir up a fair amount of sediment so the visibility wasn't great for the snorkeling. Despite this, we still had a great time enjoying a nice sunny day with fun music, good drinks, nice food, and friendly guides. This trip is what you make of it... it can be calm and relaxing or a fun party atmosphere.
