Reef and Shipwreck Snorkeling Tour in Cancun

George and Captain Juan were awesome!! We didn’t get to see a turtle but it was a great experience! My boys (ages 11 and 14) loved it! The photographer took great photos. Best part? We spent the morning snorkeling and were back to our hotel by 12:30 pm to relax. No time was wasted (which I greatly appreciated after wasting over 3 hours on the Isla Mujeres Tour).

Great day snorkeling! So many fish, and the guide took us to beautiful locations. They made sure to keep things clean, and social distancing was properly followed.

Our family of 5 took advantage of Cancun’s reopening the first week of July. We opted for a couple of excursions outside our resort (Hyatt Ziva) - a day of deep sea fishing and a snorkel excursion with Total Snorkel Cancun. Overall it was great experience. The booking process through Viator was seem less and included transportation from and to our resort. The van arrived on time and 20 mins later we were getting briefed on our snorkel trip. Sgt. Rob, Cpt. Juan and the whole team we’re amazing. They’re taking safety seriously. Everyone was masked and precautions abundant. They’ll tell you up front to either bring you’re own snorkel or they’ll sell you a new one for $10 - personally not a time I’d want to be using someone else’s snorkel. We actually got well priced snorkel gear on Amazon before we left and it was the best purchase of the trip. The snorkeling itself was great - some locations were hit or miss with the fish but the shipwreck (and old shrimp boat) was a definite highlight. We also saw turtles and rays and an abundance of fish. At one point we asked Sgt Rob (former US Army) to slow it down a bit so our kids could just enjoy the water and sights - since tour groups are small (limited to groups of 4 unless part of a larger family) he was happy to tailor to our needs. One tip - even thought Viator says towels are provided, they’re not available because of the new safety precautions so grab some at your hotel. Overall well worth the $60/ per person.

Been snorkeling in many countries in the carribean. This was the best! Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Each spot was very beautiful. I loved the tour. Everyone was super nice and kind. I also got the photo package and it was super cool. I would highly recommended this tour :)

Loved it! Our guide was great! He made sure we saw lots at each of the 3 stops. They are very friendly and generous with their time and info. It was really worth it! I’m so glad I went. The pick up at the hotel was right on time too.

I got to see a sea turtle! That was so cook. Those turtles swim fast and it's hard to keep up with them. But what a wonderful tour that was. ALSO - I compliment this outfit HIGHLY because I left my mask and snorkel behind and the crew returned it to me at my hotel!!! How is that for wonderful company? It was an expensive mast and snorkel fitted to my face - I didn't think I would get it back but the company really went out of their way to return it. THANK YOU!

The tour was fun, but the shipwreck is from the 1980s. We thought it would be a little older... also, the boat is small. If you get seasick I would not recommend this tour.

Although we werent able to do our snorkeling trip due to strong wind, I wanted to rate fantastic communication with the team. Contact through whatsapp and e-mail was really smooth and immediate. We were offered to reschedule out trip which we did, but again bad weather happend. I received refund within few days.
