My family was beginners in snorkeling, all different levels of swimmers(me- the most nervous one who can only float).
They guided us well with all the information needed. The guide had the doughnut ring where I was able to hold it all throughout in the water.
It was a great tour, well organized and we all enjoyed it(including me, the nervous reck) very much!!!
Also want to mention- they came about 30min. late to pick us up at the hotel, but they had called us(at my cell phone) and informed us that they were running late.
Amazing Trip. Loved every minute of it. Saw tons of fish and two sea turtles. The shipwreck is a joke as its really a fishing boat from the 1980s'. The guide explained everything and answered all questions. I believe her name was Maria perhaps. Maybe Marisol. I give this 5/5.
Our snorkeling excursion with Rosa and her crew was amazing! We are good swimmers but a couple on our boat was extremely nervous and they were so so patient with them. By the end, the couple was happily snorkeling along and were even the last to get out and into the boat!
The crew took us to three different spots to show us ruins and fish, turtles, and a ship wreck. Rosa guided us at each location. At first I thought it was odd, but was so pleasantly surprised at how much we got to see this way. And even though we did follow Rosa, I never felt like I couldn’t take time to see everything I wanted.
I highly recommend this trip and would happily do it again!
This was an adventure that my family will never forget. My family and I had an amazing time. The staff was excellent and made us feel no worries. My husband and I are not experienced swimmers but they helped us experience the great coral reef even without swimming skills. I would highly recommend this adventure to anyone.
Pickup at resort was on time, felt very comfortable upon arrival after being greeted. Everyone was fitted for correct size of snorkeling gear. Saw large schools of tropical fish and the statues. Did not see any sea turtles in the grass flats, but turtles were spotted by the captain while traveling to the shipwreck. The turtles were located by the guide and guess were allowed to enter the water again for photography. The best part was the final turtle spotted while heading to the shipwreck, the boat slowed down above the giant and we struggled to keep up as the giant sea turtle distanced itself from us effortlessly in the clear blue waters. The shipwreck had tons of fish, but the current was strong. Special thanks to captain Eduardo, guide Ruben and the photographer for making this a memory of a lifetime. I will never forget the size and speed of the giant sea turtle!!
Honestly this was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done in my life. Staff was all very friendly and helpful! I’ve never snorkeled before and they were very patient and kind with us noobies! Thank you again!
Trip was great and as advertised.
Saw coral, sea turtle, and shipwreck.
Our crew was amazing, George, Esther, and Willy all did a great job.
Towels and lockers included on site free of charge, and picture package offered was excellent and fairly priced.
This is an excellent excursion. With ride from hotel it is 4 to 41/2 hrs. They had everything you need for equipment, just bring swim suit and sunscreen. Good basic training, good stories, water was clear and and great locations to snorkel. Rodger our guide had a lot of stories, pointing out the areas and local things. He needs more old time pirate stories. haha Capt. Barracuda was a big help circling the boat and directing us to the best locations when we pop our heads out of the water. Lots of kicking if you get separated from the group but pretty mild otherwise. It was overcast our day but you could still see some colors and even with some choppy water the bobbing up and down was fun. Not Hawaii colors but not a bad place. Lobster, turtle, lots of fish varieties. Shipwreck was awesome on the white sands. Hundreds of fish hiding inside. Swimming through the window is a must do. Great value for the money, excellent for families with older kids or couples. Do it!
