Best experience of my life! The tour guides were wonderful and very concerned for the well being of the whales, ensuring that we are respecting them while swimming with them. Very educational program as well.

What an amazing excursion!!!!! Our tour guid Denise was very informative. My only complaint was I wished the waters had been less choppy that day. Still Highly Recommended!!!!!!

What an awesome experience! We probably saw 4-5 different whale sharks and even dolphins on the way back to shore. Our boat took 10 of us, including 2 experienced guides, out to the deep ocean about an hour from Cancun. Our group took turns jumping in the water in pairs, on cue from the guides and boat driver. Each pair spent a few minutes underwater with a guide to snorkel alongside the whale sharks and returned to the boat, where we continued looking for more whale sharks for another pair to jump in and snorkel with. There are a ton of other boat tours out there, but the whale sharks are unfazed. After each group jumped in 2-3 times, we headed back to Cancun, but made a stop at Isla Mujeres for a ceviche lunch on the boat and a quick swim in the warm, shallow waters. This was an amazing experience and I highly recommend it.

Was so awesome. Perfect. So many whale sharks when we went. Got great GoPro video. The stop at Isla Mujeres on the way back was unexpected and really nice. Did some small snorkeling there in the crystal water. Leah our guide was super nice. Highly recommended.

Cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Our guide Raul and our skipper were excellent. They took us to a secluded spot where only a few boats were with lots of whale sharks and Manta rays. Incredible experience and memories made to last a lifetime. Do take seasick tablets. And your GoPro!!

Raul was the perfect guide. His passion for his job was obvious and contagious! The boat ride was a horrible, jarring, physically uncomfortable experience because of the choppiness but I would do it again to repeat my experience with the whale sharks! Amazing experience!

Fabulous day! Follow the advice and take seasickness tablets though. Four of the ten of us got sick. I took tablets and was fine. Apparently we had a rough day but I was expecting it to be much worse to be honest. So after about an hour and a half on the boat we reached the whale sharks. There were loads of other boats already there but there is plenty of room for everyone and it didn't feel over crowded. We were very quickly into the water with these amazing creatures. You take it in turns in pairs and the first time you go in is just for a short time. I couldn't believe how warm the sea was and how close you could get to the whale sharks. My son felt seasick after our first jump he wears glasses and on getting back into the boat it took a few minutes to get his glasses back on and the movement of the boat and not been able to see caused it otherwise I think he would have been fine so we were going to pass on our second jump, as did others who were feeling sick. Carmen, the guide, was excellent and persuaded to me to have another go, saying it was an opportunity not to be missed and promised she would look after my son. I am really not confident in open water and not a competent snorkeller but Leo, the guide in the water, just held my life vest and pulled me along, swimming over two whale sharks. It was an amazing experience. Because some people didn't take the second jump those who did were able to take longer this time. Even when you are in the boat it is fantastic just to see these creatures as they were close to the surface and there were plenty of them. After swimming with the whale sharks we sailed to Isla Mejures which I was expecting to be very touristy and not my scene. It is touristy but unbelievably beautiful! It has the most amazingly clear sea which we swam in while the crew prepared us a lovely lunch. There were lots of other boats anchored up too and there was such a great vibe about it. We loved it, a great end to a fabulous day. We were well looked after all day by great staff. If you are pale skinned like us ask to sit under the canopy of the boat though. We were at the front and quite frazzled by the end.

What an experience!!! For anyone looking to do something different, something magical, this is the trip. There are currently only two places on the planet where you can swim with these magical fish so make the most of this opportunity whist you can, you won't be disappointed. After a long boat journey out to where the Whale Sharks are, we found the seas were still pretty smooth and the water was surprisingly warm. Each person was given two opportunities to get in an swim with the Whale Sharks, and this was expertly co-ordinated by the boat captain, and Daniel our deck hand. They made sure that as you entered the water the Whale Shark was right in front of you. Be sure to take your underwater cameras so that you can capture as many pictures of these incredibly large, yet graceful creatures swim passed you within just a few feet. There were a lot of boats out there when we got there which was a concern, but there was also a lot of Whale Sharks and they seem totally at ease swimming right next to the boats. David did an excellent job as our guide for the day and he was happy to tell you all he could about the Whale Sharks and the surrounding area on the boat journeys as well as ensuring everyone took advantage of the free drinks.

The tour offered everything that was promised. We were lucky to have a great day weather-wise and an abundance of whale sharks! I really don't know how many, I lost count. Our guide Alina was very helpful and kind, and her english were very good. The team even offered us a third dive although we were told beforehand that each person gets 2 dives because there were so many sharks around.

The whale sharks are amazing beasts. Swimming with them made me think of this viral picture of a great white shark and a diver swimming next to him, with the caption This is the most dangerous animal in the world. It is responsible for MILLIONS of deaths every year. By its side, a great white shark swims peacefully.

Please respect the sharks and their environment. The water was littered with sunscreen lotion which is bad for the sharks. Follow the advice the knowledgable guides give you and have a great time.

This was an awesome, once in a lifetime experience. We had a party of 10, ages ranging from 11 48, and everyone loved the experience. The bus picked us up on time and the continental breakfast at the marina was very good.
It was about an hour ride on the boat just our party of 10 on the boat before coming across the school of whale sharks. There were about 30 other boats in the area but there were plenty of whale sharks to go around... mostly juveniles 25 30 ft. Our guide Ivan and the other guide forgot his name were very good. They were very helpful positioning us in the water for the best view. We were only allowed into the water 2 at a time along with the guide, for two swims total for each person. It doesn't seem like a lot but it takes a lot of energy trying to keep up with the shark. Few of us who wanted got to go in for a 3rd time, including me. But after a few minutes keeping up with the shark on my 3rd swim, I ran out of steam and just watched the shark swim away.

Because we encountered the sharks right away, we had some additional time to relax in the waters of Isla Mujeres while enjoying sandwiches and ceviche prepared by the crew.

We came back to the hotel by 3:00pm.

I would do this again if given the chance and recommend this tour to anyone.

This is one of those experiences you don't get that often, the whale sharks were incredible, plus we saw manta rays as well. With that being said, it may not be for anyone who is not sea worthy, the ride out was about 90 minutes as was the ride back. Our family of 4 took 2 Dramamine each prior to leaving and 2 of us still got sick. 6 out of the 10 on the boat got sick, so like I said, incredible and I'm glad we did it, even my wife says so who was seasick, just warning on the ride out there and back.

I have been in many nature adventures and you have to understand that you are at the mercy of the weather and the animals.........I have no idea how Marcella pulled this off, but we must have had 2 dozen whale sharks simultaneously at the surface and all around us constantly. It was quite a spiritual experience and cannot recommend it enough to anyone and everyone. Highly recommend motion sickness meds.....big water and big waves and you need to be ready to have your mind explode at the site of these wonderous beasts!

Our dream come true realised! The boat ride is quite long and can be bumpy so we checked the sea and weather conditions before booking the best day to go. Sea sick tablets are a must as even in calm waters, the boat stops in the waves for a long time to allow for as many jumps in as possible. The captain, staff and guide were amazing, they know exactly how to get you up close to these beautiful animals, an experience we will never forget. Top trip

It was an amazing tour! We could see those whale sharks for a few time! But the time for seeing them was a bit rush for me as the whale was swimming along and we needa chased! The tour guide was nice and funny! But remember to take the stemetil pills before getting on board, the wave was really big!
It was MARVELOUS experience !

This was an amazing adventure. From the moment we were picked up until we were dropped back at the hotel we were made feel so welcomed, all members of the team excelled at their given tasks, very well informed and so helpful to all no matter of their swim skills. We were very lucky that it only took 30 minutes to find these amazing sharks and there was quite a few of them. My only complaint was the length of time plus we did not keep a camera handy as there were great opportunities above water to take photos.

Fantastic experience. Best adventure tour we did during our week stay. If you are slightly nervous about swimming in open water, choose to wear a life jacket. I had no snorkeling experience and would have been more confident with a life jacket on my first jump. You get 2-3 jump ins to swim with the whale sharks. Your guide will take pictures with your water proof camera for you if you ask. About half of our group got nauseous, so take Dramamine to help well before to have the best time. Lunch - ceviche was DELICIOUS. Great group of people running this tour.

It was amazing. Everyone was professional and the crew was so kind and patient toward all of the people on the boat. The sandwiches that were provided for lunch were not much to be thrilled about but the ceviche was incredible.

Best experience of the trip! Our guide Pato was incredible, and made us all feel very safe and comfortable. The on board ceviche lunch was delicious, and finishing the day off at beautiful Isla Mujeres was the perfect way to conclude an awe-inspiring day.
