What You Can Expect

Provence Countryside Small-Group Day Trip from Cannes

Provence Countryside Small Group Day Trip

Discover why pretty Provence has inspired generations of artists and visitors. Your tour of the picturesque region begins with midmorning pickup at your Cannes hotel in an 8-passenger minivan.

Your guide will share local insight as you drive along scenic inland and coastal roads with fantastic views of rolling hills and the Mediterranean landscape. Stop in the much-visited village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, and spend an hour exploring the cobblestone laneways and charming squares that once inspired France’s Impressionist painters.

Drive through the spectacular valley of Loup Gorges, stopping for photos along the way at the villages of Tourettes and Loup. Make a sweet stop at the Florian confectionary for a taste of floral-flavored candy. Admire views that stretch all the way to the alps and the Mediterranean Sea from the hilltop town of Gourdon, where you’ll have an hour to enjoy lunch at a local café (own expense).

Continue on to Grasse, known as perfume’s international capital. Take a guided tour of a perfumery and explore the historic town during 45 minutes of free time.

Finally, return to Cannes to see the coastal city’s highlights. Stroll along the iconic Croisette Boulevard for views of luxury hotels and sandy beaches, and see the most glamorous spot in town — the venue where the world’s film stars gather each year for the Cannes Film Festival. The tour concludes with drop-off back at your hotel in the evening.

French countryside is amazing, the little villages are like a fairy tale. Just wished we could have stayed in st Paul de Vence for longer to be able to go to all the art galleries as well. But nevertheless loved our tour and special thanks to Pierre, our bus driver and guide. He was both knowledgeable and fun making our day really enjoyable.

very good tour guide and the tour is a must if you are visiting the south of france. however, you will visit a perfumes factory that called Fragonard and i highly recommend not to buy from them as i didn't really like the quality of their perfumes and they don't last for a long time. after the factory visit you will have 1 hour to visit the village behind the factory and you will find many small shops where you can buy better perfumes for cheaper price

Great must-do tour of Cannes’ countryside of Provence . If you can only do 1 tour in Canne, this is the one to take. Guided perfumery tour in Grasse was personalized and sweet. We even had time to stroll around the Museum and the town center. The weather was good and we enjoyed spectacular views from medieval town of Gourdon. Bring your walking shoes for Saint Paul de Vence; it is a unique town. We loved the picturesque lane-ways and visited some of the art galleries, even bought a few paintings from the artist. Take time to taste the ice cream in the center of the town near the fountain. The tour guide is jolly, kind, and well informed taking the time to answer all our questions.Just be aware that the country side roads and narrow and winding so if you get car sick tell your driver and he will take time to drive slowly and stop often to ensure you’re comfortable. We are a couple with an infant and we had memorable trip and great time.

My French is limited but I do know the word "Magnifique" and that describes perfectly my 8-9 hours experience in Provence. Victor, the guide, so professional, so knowlegeable with perfect manners kept us very comfortable during the trip. Merci beaucoup. Olivia
