The tour was a great value for the time spent going to see the penguins and ro cape point. Brahm was a great guide and so knowledgeable, personable, and funny! We even did the hike with him down to cape of good hope which was totally worth it. Definitely recommend!

Did mot deliver on what was advertised

The tour in part was not representative of what was advertised: 1. No ‘ modern double deck, air conditioned motor coach’ no comfortable reclining seat with ample leg room , big vista windows. Instead an hotel/airport type shuttle bus (Iveco) with no seat recline, leg room or any real views was provided) There was no option available for a restaurant or takeaway at Cape Point or for that matter the funicular . Sorry for those with mobility constraints (apparently closed on Tuesdays). The company obviously contracted this out ( price on the contracted companies website is almost half of what was charged. I checked afterwards, so don’t make this mistake! For lunch the guide/driver made a plan and we all picked up sandwiches at Woolies for a picnic on the beach. The guide himself was entertaining though, and was a wealth of knowledge. However, it felt like paying for business class and getting an economy seat ( at least for the bus experience shich would have made a huge difference and justify the price). Social distancing in times of covid was difficult due to the very small bus. The ad needs to reflect reality and specifically state on which days there are changes to what is being sold at a premium price.

Our tours have been conducted in a smaller 15 seater vehicle that still offers free wifi and individual seating. You may have realised that during the Covid pandemic tourism has essentially stopped. As a result we have operated smaller groups in smaller vehicles and to date every passenger has been very happy about the more personal interaction! Yes the restaurant at Cape Point has closed (Covid casualty) but our guide has found that our guests actually are very happy to buy a take away and then spend time on the beach enjoying this. I am sorry you felt you got less than you paid for. We sell the tour at the same price on Viator/Tripadvisor as in our office - unless you are comparing the tour ticket price excluding the Cape Point Park entry ticket with that included option. R 460 VS R 790 (R 340 of that goes to the park for the entry ticket). I can assure you that you're not out of pocket as either way the park entry needs to be paid. Either upfront or on the day. We believe we are still offering a superior experience during very difficult times and also hope that as tourism is on the up again, our double deck Cape Point coaches will make a return.

This was a great tour. The bus ride is very comfortable. The tour guide and people who worked on the bus were excellent. Our tour guide actually talked the entire 1-1/2 hour ride to Cape point which I thought was amazing. He was very informative and I learned a lot. Also it was not as annoying as it may sound. Once we arrived to Cape point we had enough time to eat and explore the area and get some beautiful pics. Also if you like to hike, the hike to the lighthouse is a nice not too strenuous hike. There were other hiking trails but took longer to do and this tour doesn't allow enough time for that. If you are interested in that, I suggest driving there yourself or hiring a private car. Its such a beautiful place. Boulders beach was very nice also. That particular day it was very windy so it made it hard to be on the actual beach. But it didn't prevent you from seeing the penguins as the were freely roaming the beach. I definitely recommend this tour.

Our guide Rickie was knowledgable and entertaining. We felt a little rushed at Cape Point as we needed to eat and wanted to go up the funicular, we managed it though. Great to see Cape of Good Hope. Boulders beach was the highlight!

This tour was very well done. The tour guide was very informative and very knowledgeable on topics related to the tour, as well as other various knowledge regarding South Africa and its culture/history. We were given ample time at each stop to explore and see the sights. Also you have an option to do a hike as well! If you are looking for a well rounded tour with great scenery, this is the tour for you.

Really loved seeing all the Penguins and the Cape. Much prefer the large bus experience for view and comfort over smaller vans. Excellent guide Charles was very knowledgable and gave a great tour. We did HOHO bus for a couple days too. City Sightseeing is an excellent way to see Cape Town.
