This was a great introduction into the city of Cape Town. Would highly recommend the tour and Bike and Saddle to other travellers. Would recommend doing this at the start of your stay just to help you get to know the city centre. The guide I had Patrick was very informative and had great knowledge of the history and answered all questions. He also made sure I was comfortable and safe at all times.

We loved our bike tour! No one else signed up so it was a private, casual, and extremely informative tour with a great guy.He enlightens you about the historical context and current political happenings as you bike by different areas of Cape Town. This is the perfect way to get some exercise while seeing and learning about the city!! :

I was expecting this to be a 5 hour tour and kept the evening free. The tour, including having drinks/canapes at the end only came to 2 hours. If I knew it was actually going to be this short I would have booked a cheaper/shorter tour that had the same points of interest. Bear in mind though, that it was only myself and the tour guide, perhaps if there was a group of people the tour might have taken longer.
It was good to get my bearings for Cape Town though, and the tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly.
