We were terribly disappointed by this tour. The whole group was formed with locals, and so despite the fact that we had booked an English speaking tour we had to sit in silence most of the time while the guide spoke in Turkish. After we complaint several times he started making some comments in an extremely rudimentary English every now and then. It felt really frustrating, but we decided to endure it since they couldn't take us back and we had no time to book anything else. At lunch they took us to a nice restaurant but when we asked where the beverages where, they told us that if we wanted to drink anything we had to pay more. After that they informed us that they were taking us to an unplanned activity. This turned out to be a jewelry owned by a partner of the tour operators. We told our guide this was not planned and that we did not want to buy jewelry. Besides we rememinded him that it was already 17.30, the time at which the tour was supposed to drop us at our hotel since we had to catch a plane back to Istanbul. He told us he would look for someone who could help us and came back with a salesman who started showing rings to my wife. We went mad and demanded they took us back to our hotel since we were not going to make it to our airport shuttle on time. So our guide told the salesman to drive us back in his own car. We can't believe we were scammed by a Trip Advisors tour. When in a foreign country you try to play it safe and so we spent a little more to book through this site but we ended up truly angry. They wasted our money and our time in a once in a lifetime trip.
