Start your golf experience by checking in at the Catalina Island Golf Course pro shop. Originally constructed with only three holes, this course at the Catalina Island Country Club was enlarged to nine holes in the early 1900s. Throughout the century, it was improved, declined, and then rehabilitated again. Tiger Woods first played here at age 4 and again when he was 14.
Your 9-hole round takes you through the five par-4 and four par-3 holes. Play the narrow, long course as it winds through a canyon setting toward the sea, and watch out for animals such as foxes, hawks, and deer. Enjoy the challenge of small greens and deep bunkers.
A driving net is available. An additional nine holes can be purchased when you check in if you want to play a full 18.
