Delve into ancient Roman and Greek history with a visit to both Neapolis Archaeological Park and Ortygia Island in Sicily's Syracuse. Neapolis is home to some of Syracuse's most notable ruins, including a massive Greek amphitheater that is still used for performances during summer months. Marvel at age-old quarries and a Roman amphitheater where gladiators fought each other to the death. Afterward, head over to Ortygia Island―a small island that serves as Syracuse's historic center―and nearby Noto, a stunning town filled with exquisite, photo-worthy Baroque architecture.
A great tour with a small group guiding us around the key sights but providing plenty of free time to explore as well.
our Guide and Driver Francesca was knowledgeable, kind and kept us on time. We had good explanations of the cities we were going to visit, and of the things we saw in the drive. she gave us good tips of where to eat when we asked without sending us to be a captive audience in a particular restaurant. She answered emails I was not sure I had provided the correct address of the hotel in a timely and courteous manner. The group had 8 people in Italian and English and managed to keep both parties informed. It is a great way to see Noto, Ortigia and the ruins of Syracuse without having to drive and park. It was a day well spent.
everything was excellent
excellent program drawn
Great views, beautiful country and outstanding weather! Our guide was knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Since it was the end of season we had a small party making for dedicated attention from the guide. Noto was my favorite destination and I would love to go back and see it at sunset. Great time!

This was a good tour which covered the three towns and archaeological park. Our guide Julia was very professional and took care to ensure we were well looked after.nour first stop was at Noto and that was really lovely as it was relatively quiet when we arrived so we gained better insights into the architecture. Next was Syracuse and Ortigia and these were very good although it was a relatively hot day so the visit to the archaeological park was quite demanding. Overall, it was a good day which covered really good cities and sights. Would recommend.
Noto was the highlight of the trip. Needed more time to explore there.
