Enjoy scenic boat rides to and from Stingray City
Stand or swim in shallow water with dozens of stingrays
Hotel pickup and drop-off on Grand Cayman included
Following pickup from your hotel on Grand Cayman, transfer to the marina where you'll meet your boat. Watch as the island's coastline recedes and sip the provided water or juice during your 30-minute boat ride out to a series of sandbars in clear, shallow water. Upon arrival at Stingray City, jump out of the boat into the calm, waist-deep water. The stingrays that congregate here are wild, but are accustomed to being near humans. During your 45-minute stay, watch them pass by and take plenty of photos during your encounter. Climb back on your boat and head over to the Barrier Reef or the Coral Garden for some snorkeling. Don the provided snorkel equipment and spend about a half hour floating peacefully in the calm waters among coral and schools of tropical fish. Your guide is available for beginner snorkel instruction. Return to the marina on the boat, then transfer back to your Grand Cayman hotel at the end of this 3-hour tour.

Excellent family Cayman excursion
My family and I booked this excursion through Viator which made things very easy and fast. The guides were very friendly and patient. The boat was also nice. They transported us to and from the cruise port in an A/C van which was very nice. We saw tons of stingray, had the chance to learn about them, feed them and pet them. The waters are so clear you can see all of them swimming in the water all around you. You even had the option to purchase the photos taken at the excursion. The snorkeling stips were also excellent! Highly recommended excursion!
We had a quick visit with 3 kids ages 4-16. The family owned business was very accommodating and made sure we made it back to our cruise ship in a timely manner. We stopped at 3 places and the sting ray experience is one that every one who visits this area should visit!
This was a great time. They picked us up at the dock, air conditioned van to their boat, trip to the sting ray site with free water and fruit juices, interacted with sting rays, captain got a large one contained so that we could hold and feed it, short trip to the reef, snorkle swim at reef, trip back to van and return to ship. A truly wonderful day. Photos taken and sold at a reasonable price were beautiful.
My brother and I were both shocked when we stepped onto the boat to see how overcrowded it was. We were sitting shoulder to shoulder with other tourists on the entire way to Stingray City. We put up with it thinking that once we got there, we would have ample room to swim around. Wrong. We got to our destination and found that there were already around six other boats there and the waters were completely overcrowded as well. My brother and I didn't even get to interact with the stingrays given that we were not given the stingray food that this excursion had said to include. We had ONE guide handling ONE stingray and made everyone on our boat line up to take photos. Not to mention the photo costed $60 to keep so we did not even bother. There were also FOBS on our excursion who pushed and shoved to get to the front and made the trip even more frustrating for us, as we were looking to relax and just have fun. After waddling around for a bit, we just decided to wait for everyone else back on the boat. Our next stop was snorkeling which could have been great if we hadn't wasted so much time at Stingray City to begin with. We were left with maybe just 10 minutes to snorkel before they started calling everyone back to the boat. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with this excursion. I've been on similar excursions in the Bahamas, Aruba, Mexico, etc. where I had the time of my life. This experience does not even come close. I would recommend anyone thinking of booking this experience to save their money and spend the morning on one of the beaches instead.
From start to finish, this was well organized and we had an amazing time. Check in was easy to find at the port. The van over to the dock was air conditioned and safe -our driver Robert Sr. was super kind. Once we arrived at the dock we were greeted by some friendly young men who went over safety rules and what to expect. I don't remember all of their names, but I know the one we interacted with the most was Robert Jr. The ride over to Stingray City was smooth and it was not overbooked so not crowded. When we arrived, we all had plenty of time to interact with the stingrays, take pictures, and snorkel a bit close to the boat. We did purchase the picture package for an additional $60 but it came with the ability to download ALL of the pictures that he took, which was good because our phones were not water proof. We then took a short ride to a reef area to snorkel. The snorkeling was amazing and we had a perfect amount of time to spend. My husband and I were traveling with an 11 year old and a 5 year old and the excursion was completely family friendly. While the 5 year old didn't want to touch the stingrays she still had a great time seeing them and my 11 year old thought it was the coolest thing he had ever done. I would recommend this to anyone of any age.
This experience was just amazing; one to remember. The staff was great and the tour itself was wonderful. The package was way cheaper then what I would have paid if I had booked with the cruiseship directly. I would not only come back but also recommend this tour to a friend.
