This was a wonderful experience and our tour guide Charlie was incredibly enthusiastic and full of knowledge. We do wish it would include a few more stops and of our three locations Prohibition, HoM, and The Republic Garden and Lounge we loved them all! We only wish at HoM we had more of the same experience at the other two where the bartenders took time to teach us about the history of the drink and how it was made.

Interesting and enjoyable tour of 3 bars over about 90 minutes. We had actually visited 2 of the bars already in our stay. Good details of the drinks involved and the drinks were very nice as was our guide Charley. The 3 drinks are included.
However, not much about the bar or its history - say that as equivalent tour on New Orleans visits bars with a history and intriguing stories - as well as the drinks.

2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better March 2016

Glenn was great and we enjoyed Burwell's. Bartenders were friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. The next two places left a lot to be desired in the drink category. Carmella's was nice and the bartender friendly but we were given a mint and milk based drink. After having the fruity tequila based cocktail at Burwell's, it was pretty bad, Not to mention not everyone is lactose tolerant. I think maybe coordinating cocktails prior to the tour will help the guide. I still had fun but would rather have gone to the rooftop bars Glenn told us about. We escaped and did just that. Vendu was so much nicer. Unfortunately, I still don't know what cocktail is Charleston's specialty.
