This is a really nice tour! The guide was very nice and informative. I learned a lot about Buddhism and Chiang Mai from him. The chant itself is hypnotizing, I recommend the experience. The food is really good too.

The chanting is a nice little bit of insight into Thai culture and the night market is crazy and it's very useful to have a guide giving you insider tips. But the best thing here is the dinner, a great selection of Thai dishes in a very nice setting. It's an evening well spent.

This was a great way to spend our evening. We visited a couple of the more prominent temples in the town and enjoyed hearing the monks chanting. At one, we were able to walk down to the river and enjoy the view. The market was interesting, and our guide introduced us to a few local items along the way. Although dinner was described to be out in a garden, we actually ate indoors at a lovely resort. It was cool and there were no mosquitos! The first dish that came out was very flavorful, but so extremely hot for us. We indicated this to the waiter, and the rest of the meal was much less spicy. It would have been nice to have had the spice discussion before the food was served I know we aren't the only ones who can't take Thai heat : Aside from the spice, the food was delicious. We visited the market before dinner we had expected it to be for dessert, according to our trip description, but the dessert at the restaurant was wonderful. A lovely evening.

Visited a local temple at 6 pm for a real world experience with monks and local folks chanting...dinner at the very beautiful 137 Pillars house restaurant was very good...also enjoyed the non-touristy night market with local guide...learned a lot about Thai and Buddhist culture from guide...highly recommend this tour.

Great evening! The evening prayers at the Wat were lovely, enjoyed the guide's tour of the Night and Flower Markets though note, this is not the Night Market with stalls selling t-shirts and knick-knacks, and the boutique hotel dinner was in a lovely setting with delicious food.

Loved this tour my first night in Chiang Mai. It was great to see the actual local temples instead of busy touristy spots. Also the night market was great and the guide really showed me around and explained what everything was. Definitely recommend! And dinner was great as well!!!

This was great to see. Our guide was full of information about something we really know nothing about. I felt more educated when we were done. The dinner though was remarkable! The restaurant was a hidden oasis and the food was fantastic. I highly recommend this tour.

Our guide was informative - extremely friendly and helpful, answering questions about any topic we had. He was well spoken in English and had perfect manners. The temple tour and monks chanting was made more interesting by Dom's personal experiences that he related to us. Having a driver Ton and a guide Dom works very well as we were left off at a location whilst the driver found parking, etc. and the moment we were ready to move onward, the car was waiting. The secret garden dinner was fabulous. A truly remarkable setting and exquisite food. Night Market was not the touristy version, it was the actual markets that the locals attend, much more interesting than we had anticipated. Wonderful experience.

Everything about this tour was worth every dollar. The guide was friendly and super informative. We arrived at the temple however there was some special day on so he offered us the chance to go to another temple so we were able to see the monks chanting. This experience in itself was absolutely amazing. The dinner at the boutique hotel was delicious!! You would never go to this place if you weren't on this tour. You can not even tell from the road that there is a restaurant there. And the food they served was just superb. Northern Thai cuisine, fine dining style. We then finished at the night markets where the guide took us through and we tried all the different Thai fruits. We were a group of 9 and every single person enjoyed this tour. Highly recommended!!

This would be a very good tour with a group but my friend and I were alone on this tour and with the guide and driver it was a bit quiet. The guide was very good, friendly and helpful and worked hard to make our night good and it was. The temple chanting was a bit of an experience, the dinner at a very posh restaurant, and the night markets very different from what we had seen before. We were very please with the tour guide and gave him a good review.

Tour was a nice start to our visit, the meal was beautiful and the night market was nice with a guild, would have like to spend more time there. I could have done without the Buddha chanting but it was nice. It also would have been nice if our guild could have joined us for dinner and we could have learned a lot from him

Tour guide lovely but hard to understand at times. Went to see the Buddhist chant, but not our night, but they found us another temple to see this. The Thai dinner was at a lovely hotel and the food was enjoyed by my friends, but it is a set menu and I struggled. The night market you can quite easily do by your self.

The guide was very nice and the temple was nice. I think the dinner was a little much with was at a 5 star restaurant with candle light dinner. I was dressed to go to a temple and to markets not to a 5 star candle light dinner. I think this tour needs to have more to do and more interaction. I think the dinner needs to be in a different restaurant that fits with the rest of the trip.

Tour started ok when picked up at hotel. First stop was to the temple to view the Buddist Chant. Only there were no monks at the temple to do the chant because of the ongoing Loi Kathong festival. My wife, who is Thai, told us the tour guide should have known this as it's customary for the monks to be unavailable at this time. He then took us to the night market. But, because there was no Buddist Chant, we got there too early and the market wasn't set up yet. We wandered around through the alleys eventually coming out on a road where we were picked up by the driver.

We had dinner at a beautiful restaurant. The dinner itself was ok. It was northern Thai style and did not have much taste, I.e. very mild.

The tour was a waste of time and money for us. We understood the guide had to do some alternative scheduling. We just did not expect he would be doing it on the fly. The Night Market was a real disappoint. Not much different than markets in and around Bangkok.

Very misleading advert for this tour Monks only chant by candlelight for festival occasions a couple of times a year. This tour involved us visiting a temple and watching a handful of monks sit down with in our case a few locals and chant. This can go on for over an hour and so we left after about ten minutes as you literally sit and watch them sitting. We were taken to an indoor market where we were led around stalls selling the same types of food and flowers and was not very interesting. The only saving grace was the meal which we could not fault. We did not bother with the tour of the Night Market as this is a street market on either side of a road and you don't need a guide. The vehicle provided was clean but our tour guide was not great. He explained that he needed us to complete a feedback form whilst we ate dinner and I felt pressured into making positive feedback, given that we were reliant on them and the feedback was not secure. Very disappointing.
