Meet your guide in the morning at the JR Okitsu Station and travel to Satta-toge Pass. You’ll arrive at the foot of Satta-toge close to 9:40am, and begin your ascent.
You’ll arrive at the top of Satta-toge around 10am, where you’ll be able to soak in the stunning views of famous Mt. Fuji in the distance, as well as Suruga Bay, the deepest bay in all of Japan. You’ll descend back down at 10:15am and transfer to Yui Town, where you’ll visit “Koike Tei,” a traditional Japanese-style house at approximately 10:55am.
Leave Yui Town at 11:05am, and head to the Tokaido Hiroshige Art Museum. The center’s art collection includes numerous examples of the “Ukiyo-e” art, made with a special woodblock technique. You’ll leave the museum at 12:15pm, and head to Panorama Terrace Umi-no-Niwa, a scenic overlook where you can eat lunch (own expense) and enjoy the views of Mt. Fuji. At 1pm you’ll leave the restaurant and head to the JR Yui Station, where you’ll make your way back to your original starting point.
