What You Can Expect

Colorado Springs Hot Air Balloon Flight

Balloon Inflation

Before the day of your 4-hour hot-air balloon ride at sunrise, make sure to confirm your departure time. Get picked up before your departure time, and get driven over to the balloon launch area near the Colorado Springs Airport. If your hotel isn’t one of the select hotels that gets free pickup, then you’ll need to make your own way over to the balloon launch.

Next, your guide gets you situated inside the balloon and tells you a few safety pointers, so you’re ready for takeoff. As you soar up into the sky, enjoy sights over Colorado during sunrise. If you brought a camera, you can snap pictures of the stunning views of mountains, rivers, and plains. Once you get up to the highest point, you can see for more than 100 miles (161 km) in all directions.

After your hot-air balloon lands back on the ground, enjoy a breakfast set out on a table cloth and served in glass stemware. Breakfast includes Champagne, fruit, pastries, and juice. Plus, walk away from this experience with a flight certificate as a memento of your time up in the air.
