Constanta Private Shore Excursion: Jewish Bucharest and city tour

Cantacuzino Palace - Music Museum George Enescu

After an 8 a.m. pickup at the Port of Constanta, travel two hours west to Bucharest, learning about the history and culture of Romania from the driver/guide along the way. Complimentary beverages and snacks will be available on the trip to and from Bucharest.

Upon arrival in Romania’s capital city, head to the former Jewish Quarter for a visit to the Jewish Museum, which has served as a centerpiece of Jewish history since 1978. Also, see the Great Synagogue, a landmark of the Jewish Quarter that features an exhibit about the Holocaust in Romania; the Jewish Community Center, for a meet and greet with local members; the Choral Temple, the primary synagogue in Bucharest; and the Palace of the Parliament, the seat of the Parliament of Romania and the second largest administrative building in the world, after the US Pentagon.

After lunch in Old Town, located in the heart of the city, walk the streets and visit the Stavropoleos Monastery, Manuc’s Inn, and more.

The tour ends with a return trip to the Port of Constanta.
