The Sunday tour bumps up against the need to clear the site for formal Sunday Services in the Cathedral - not a problem.
Missed out on the tapa as arrived too late and only wanted a cup of tea (to get warm as it was very cold) which was revolting.

Waste of time!

Sorry can’t recommend this as the meeting location sent via email from Viator was apparently incorrect so nobody turned up, no communication from the guide until 2 hours later! Very annoying as we’d driven 5 hours to get to the meeting point! Still waiting for my refund!

Please stay away from this tour company. As a tourist, I'm not familiar with Cordoba. The Departures point was very unclear. You would think they would use landmarks. Instead, they are using “ baths” that don't show on google maps. I tried reaching out to them, but they didn't respond after 15 minutes in, so we had to pay out of pocket to do the tour ourselves.

Olivia is very informative and she organized the tour very nicely not through timeline but through religion. She emphasize the details of the building/historical events and the interactions between two religions. She also gives you two sentences summary for the Cordoba Mosque-Cathedral for those that just want a quick understanding. We have two 8 year old and this is the third Cathedral we toured. The first two, both kids were not impressed and just want to get out. This one they both listened to the end and actually got something out of the tour. That said, Olivia speaks the best English among all tour guides that we used (we had 4 total in Granada/Seville/Cordoba). She also uses simple/effective language that kids can understand. She is very knowledgable about this place. Highly recommended.

Guide never showed up. Called the number provided multiple times kept hanging up. It's a scam and trip advisor is pn it. They just charge your card and u have no recourse.
Guided tour with tapas and wine, but tapas and wine were missing

The guide was very talkative, and a little hard to understand, we had been looking forward to the tour with tapas and wine, but this was not included despite it being in the order we had placed. so unfortunately a little bad experience.

Great place but do it under your own steam

Although the guide was very informative and lovely, it dragged on a bit toward the end. As we had to go straight to the Jewish quarter we didn't get our own time to be able to look around and fully absorb this amazing place. If I hadn't quickly taken photos at the time, there wouldn't have been a chance. Missed out on the tapa as arrived too late and only wanted a cup of tea (to get warm as it was very cold) which was revolting. We thought we would get to see the famous patio gardens but - no.

DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR We arrived from Seville to be told there was no English language tour that day. The company had not contacted us and could not explain why the guide did not turn up They then said that if we went into the Mezquita, we would forfeit our right to a refund!!!!! This is a scam. The company is called Arte de Cordoba. There are other reports of this happening. Please do not book any tours run by this company

Our guide was Anna, loves what shes doing ,and very upbeat. Enjoyed every minute of the tour, if you are in Cordoba do not miss this tour. The history lesson is almost more then you can take in on one visit.

I appreciated the effort but there was too much detail inside the mosque/cathedral and inadequate treatment of the deeper historical significance of the Jewish quarter.

We booked this tour so that we could look around while still being informed of the sights we were seeing. Our guide Rebecca was waiting for the group early - which is always good. Her English was excellent and we had no problems. The tour pace was good with time for photos. The information given within the mosque was excellent with small asides (eg I doubt if we had been on our own we would have seen the Visigoth church remains). The Sunday tour bumps up against the need to clear the site for formal Sunday Services in the Cathedral - not a problem. THe tour does NOT include the Bell Tower. The walk through the Jewish Quarter was informative and included a visit to the Synagoge (which is free). The tour ended with vouchers for a drink and tapas at La Luna which was fine.
