What To Expect

Settle aboard the lower or open, upper deck of the Corfu hop-on, hop-off bus at any of the four stops (see Itinerary for a full list) , and don the headphones to hear the pre-recorded commentary (available in eight languages).

During the 45-minute loop, hop off and on at any stop to visit the landmarks, creating your own sightseeing itinerary. Alternatively, stay aboard, absorbing the views and commentary to build an overview that will guide your later sightseeing.

Take in the 15th-century Old Fortress, and admire the elegant Palace of St. George and St. Michael, the former home of Corfu’s British commissioners that overlooks the Esplanade park.

Pass the churches, museums, and ochre-painted Venetian mansions of the Old Town, as the commentary tells the story of this UNESCO-listed district. Perhaps disembark here to explore or have coffee at the Liston, whose 1807 arcades were designed to echo Paris’ Rue de Rivoli.

Then, maybe ride to Kanoni to see Pontikonisi Island, nicknamed ‘Mouse Island,’ and the Panagia Vlaherna monastery, the whitewashed church on an island that graces many of Corfu's postcards — choosing to take photos from the bus or hopping off to visit.

Buses depart every 60 minutes.

Traveler Tips

Do not bother to buy both the A and B tours , either one would be enough.

Scenic, concise, helpful
RICK_N, Aug 2022
Scenic drives for each of the 2 lines. Good communication with the helpful drivers. Good timetable so both routes overlapped without waiting.
Great way to see Corfu

Great way to see Corfu. We took the bus around once then jumped off a few stops. It was quit a long walk from the cruise port to the bus.
Never again

Filthy back alleys of piled up garbage. What a run down ugly place. Shame on Viator. The restaurants were nice but the zHop on Hop off was a tour of garbage cans and back alleys
Great way to see a lot in a short time.

Great way to get around and see a good deal of Corfu in a short time. We especially liked seeing the Palace where Prince Phillip was born.

Good way to see city but staff need more training
Alexandra_F, Sep 2021
English guide at the stop we boarded on couldn't speak any English, couldn't validate my ticket brought me over to his car to try validate it and was so close to me with no mask on - which was just very unprofessional and ignoring COVID guidelines completely. Audio was quite hard to understand as it went very fast and didn't seem to completely line up with the sights we were passing. Besides this it is a good way to see the city even though it didn't completely line up to what we we seeing.

Very nice tour of Corfu!
Adrienne_K, Sep 2021
I enjoyed the tour of Corfu and appreciated the help of the bus driver and his colleagues at the New Port who helped with my ticket. The pickup place (Nautilus Restaurant) was slightly different from where I expected (Mon Repos Palace Hotel) and the info I had on my phone was different from the ticket confirmation the driver was used to seeing. Not speaking Greek I was happy that it all worked. The tour was fine. Don't know how the drivers fit their large bus through the narrow streets! I would not have seen as much of Corfu without the bus tour. Also the online help was able to give me my refund right away for a second ticket that was accidentally purchased because I had too many windows opened on the Viator website.

A good way to see Corfu
Susan_C, Sep 2021
Your drivers were lovely. They explained things along the way. I was on a cruise and there was an office in the cruise terminal with maps and a knowledgeable guy to help us go where we wanted to. The busses ran frequently. A very enjoyable experience.
Corfu city tour

Once we found the bus it was smooth sailing. Got a good view of the city of Corfu . Recommend ro anyone who wants a quick tour of the city
Fantastic way to see all of the sites
lisap111, Oct 2019
This was by far the best value I have had on a tour. The cost of the tour was fantastic in comparison with the amount of the city that you are able to see. We were able to spend as much time in some spots as we wanted to and were then just able to move onto the next site. Bus was very comfortable and easy to locate in each spot. Highly recommend.

Skipped stops!
Omnyone, Sep 2019
I purchased tickets on both Line 1 & 2 and planned my visit around the stops. Line 2 went from New Port to Achilleon Palace, with no stops between. When asked why, the driver just said “not today”. Luckily, the bus did go to Perama, and I was able to walk the causeway to Kanoni to join Line 1. This line, however, skipped the Mon Repo stop entirely. When I asked the driver he told me he would stop next time around. ?!? Why have a route that advertises ability to hop on/off when your driver can just decide if he wants to go there or not?

Just a ride around the city!
TexasGal1227_13, Jul 2019
Corfu is not an especially interesting little island and this Hop On Hop Off spends a lot of time driving you down little roads behind homes so you see a lot of backyards and garbage cans. Do not bother to buy both the A&B tours -- either one would be enough. After doing the "A" tour, we had to go back to the port to catch the "B" tour, which only left a few times a day , and as we waited, the tour personnel stood with us underneath a tiny tent (it was hot) and smoked cigarettes and blew smoke in our faces. Get a clue -- the USA bans smoking almost everywhere and certainly not in the workplace.. The buses had about 50% working audio outlets so you had to move around the bus to find a working audio plug.
Great way to see Corfu

Everything appears to run very smoothly. Staff are extremely helpful. Bus drivers all very pleasant. Information via ear phones very informative and interesting in all languages available whilst on the bus. Great value for money and highly recommended.

I have been trying to confirm a change of dates for this experience, However I am not getting any real assistance from Viator even though they sent me an email 48 hours ago to say they would let me know about the changes. At this time I am a little disappointed in the assistance I am getting from Viator.

The best and most economical way to go sightseeing in my opinion. You get a birds eye view on the city where you can choose to get on and off as you wish. The commentary is what I really appreciate.

Belle façon pour découvrir Corfou
Julie_D, Aug 2022
