We did not kiss the Blarney Stone and opted instead not to stand on line for 2 hours but instead saw all the gardens and had lunch a a small cafe on the grounds and enjoyed ourselves so much more.

The gardens at Blarney Castle are worth the trip. The one tree is like nothing I have ever seen. I would suggest , spend more time in the garden than trying to get up to the Blarney stone. The little village and shop near the Castle make for a very nice setting. This tour far exceeded my expectations.. .

Another great trip. We didn't wait in the line to kiss the blarney stone not worth it....., but the gardens and hikes through the woods were fantastic. Don't miss the short hike to the fern garden! We were sure that little gnomes were going to come out of the ferns at any moment. It was quite a magical feeling and well worth the walk!

Our guide, Val don't call him Valentine was very knowledgeable, entertaining, and his singing was wonderful. Our cruise ship arrived 5 hours late 11:30. Val see attached photo waited all morning and then decided to modify his timing of the day's activities. We agree with other reviewers to pack a all body pancho. We really wanted to see the Blarney Castle. It is a steep and slightly claustrophobic climb to the top of the Blarney tower 170 steps and very narrow. When we arrived the ticket lines were very long and not moving. However Val our guidemade sure we were among the first at the castle so the wait was not too long. We then onto Kinsale, a small town, Then back to the cruise port. Back to the port where the people in the town of Cork were so friendly. Viator hired Val and his Paddywagon bus company. We have used Viator many times and each time the tour guide is the best there is. I will continue to promote Viator to others. Again Val and Paddywagon helped turn disastrous day the best day of our trip.

We loved this day. It was a particularly rainy day torrential at the castle!! but our guide, Val was so knowledgeable and so entertaining that it was easy to overlook the bad weather. Pack a pancho! It is a steep and slightly claustrophobic climb to the top of the Blarney tower but our guide made sure we were among the first at the castle so the wait was not too long.
Then onto Kinsale, a beautiful view of the countryside and enjoyed this quaint town.
Back to the port where the people in the town of Cork were so friendly. Cork Cobh was our favorite stop in Ireland!

Very scenic and could have spend more time at the Blarney Castle which has a vast grounds. As there were many people queuing for the castle, we didn't manage to get up there. Love the surrounding gardens and landscape.

Our tour guide, Val, was amazing. This was also our second tour by Paddywaggon where their timing to get us out first was on point. I can't recommend them enough for your shore excursions!

This tour provided us a wonderful scenic drive through the countryside surrounding Dublin, a stop at St. Kevin's 7th century monastery and walk to Upper Lake, as well as time to walk the streets of Dublin to visit some of the highlights.

This had to be the best tour we took durong our cruise. The driver John made all the difference. He got us loaded up and left ahead of all the other tour groups heading to same place. His humor and stories made the trip very enjoyable. I would highly recommend using Paddywagon and John.

First, our cruise ship had issues the day before the tour that delayed our arrival by 2 hours. While at sea at 8pm, I called the phone number provided by Viator for Paddy Wagon Tours, and Jack immediately answered and informed me that they were aware of the delay and had already rescheduled the tour...completely professional and responsible organization. Jack turned out to the bus driver/tour guide that met us at port the next morning.
The tour was fun, and Jack had a lot of interesting history and local knowledge to share, as he lives in the area. The tours weren't guided, but we received good directions on what to do and where to go. We were given adequate time to see the important stuff, and were told where and when to meet the bus again. Of course, there are always rude people that don't return on time and kept us waiting.

Blarney Castle was crowded and around a 2.5 hour wait for kissing the stone. Nobody waited, as the castle grounds are large and filled with pretty gardens and forested areas. There was also a lot of gift shops and eating places to visit.

Afterwards, we went to the seaside for a bit of sightseeing and food. Very nice little town.

Highly recommended tour and Paddy Wagon was awesome.

This tour is so much better than booking with the cruise line as you actually get enough time to wait in the lines to climb Blarney Castle and kiss the Blarney Stone. That made it worth it by itself. Our tickets for entry were already paid and we got in immediately. If you do go into the castle, there is not time for much else, but it was worth it to us. The town of Kinsale was great and we had an awesome lunch on our own. The driver was knowledgeable and gave us great info along the way. Plus, Paddywagon Tours has free wifi on the buses! Highly recommend!

This trip was amazing. Paul picked us up from the wharf and whisked us off with the aim of getting us to Blarney Castle front of the queue at opening time. Mission successful and we were delighted to be able to go straight up to the tower. We had plenty of time to enjoy the castle and gardens before the scenic drive through to Kinsdale, a beautiful fishing village.Paul's wit, charm and patience added to the absolute charm and delight of the trip. He made the most of the time available to him as he met the time constraints and had us back to the ship in time. He even fitted in a visit to the cathedral in Cobh. Thank you so much!!

We had a wonderful tour of Blarney Castle, Kinsale and a bit of downtown Cork with Don our guide from Paddywagon Tours.
The tour included about 2 hours at Blarney Castle it was taking about 1.5 hrs. to reach the stone so we used our time to tour the beautiful gardens at the Castle.

We then headed to The Old English Market in downtown Cork for a walk through and then to Kinsale, another beautiful seaport town
somewhat reminiscent of Cape May, N.J. We had a leisurely lunch and sufficient time to shop for souvenirs.

Our guide provided commentary during the tour about cultural aspects of Ireland as well as touring tips on where to eat.

A very pleasant tour that we really enjoyed. About 6-7 hours total touring time.

Before I took the tour I did have some concerns, such as how to meet the guide after the cruise ship docked the pier, how to return to the ship on time. The fact that the bus and the guide waited right at the gateway and the whole tour was very well organized assures me that everything is in control and I should not worry. I enjoyed the every minute of the tour as the place is beautiful and people are very friendly and nice. One more important thing is that price is reasonably good.

Excellent tour! Despite people on the tour being late at every stop no idea why people cant be on time we were back to our ship in plenty of time and we didn't miss out on anything. Ample time at each location and the driver was excellent. He kept us entertained, was very knowledgeable and a very safe driver on those crazy roads. Highly recommend this tour.
