It took a fair effort getting to Pt Isaac from London using public transport but as I am a big fan of the show, I decided it warranted the time and expense. The tour guide, being a local knew so much and was really friendly. If you visited the town on your own, it is possible to recognize some of the buildings from the show but our guide was able to 'value add' with more information as well as taking us to other locations in some narrow lane ways. Having made the effort to get to this beautiful spot, it is well worth the little it cost to take the tour.

Our guide John took us on a lovely walk around the whole town and told us both town history and Doc Martin stories.
The place is as beautiful as you see on television. It was very relaxing and the ebbing tide is such a cool feature.
Making a reservation for dinner anywhere may be important as it was crowded at a couple places we tried.
We walked up the trail on the opposite side of the Old School Hotel where the view is pleasant, gorgeous and a little windy once you pass a certain point. You can tell where the wind starts, because the foot trail disappears.
Port Isaac is a wonderful village!! Our guide was great and filled us in on behind the scenes Doc Martin filming. Would love to be there when they are actually filming.
Loved my Doc Martin tour. John our tour guide was informative and charming. It was so nice to hear the history of the village as well as everything about the filming of the TV series.
THIS WAS A NICE WALKING TOUR. THE GUIDE WAS A CAST MEMBER OF DOC MARTIN SO HE HAD A LOT OF INSIDE INFO. VERY GOOD TOUR
This tour was great. Not only did we hear about the significance of Doc Martin, to the town of Port Isaac and the surrounding district, but our tour guide shared a lot of the history of Port Isaac with us. Highly recommend this tour
The guide was wonderful. However, the highlight of our trip was seeing the entire cast of Doc Marten!!!! They were visiting Port Isaac because of a Royal Visit from the Prince of Wales. What a day! We took some memorable pictures.
Mike did an amazing job of explaining the history of Port Isacc with personal experiences of the Doc Martin series. Wonderful little town, hoards of tourists including us. As a bonus, we got to see Prince Charles. He seems very comfortable chatting with the locals.
Tour guide very informative as he is not only local but was in the show. Worth doing the tour it was interesting. Sunny dry day helped.
Highly recommend particularly if you are a Doc Martin fan. It was a great tour that lasted 90 minutes and covered a lot of ground. All the key buildings and events were identified. A great way to visit Port Isaac even if you don't watch Doc Martin.
