Great value and water obstacle coarse fun for all ages. rent kayaks, hobiecat and paddle boat all included.
clean place. do it...
Great place. Fun for the kids. Great service. Good food and drinks. Not the best snorkeling. They have cool little man made Mayan ruins, but they were really close to the climbing structures so there were not a lot of fish. There were many activities to do like Jet skis and parasailing. I loved the complimentary rafts. It was really crowded later on in the day but that is probably because there were two cruise ships in port. Bring bug spray. We all got attacked in the morning when checking in.
This place has everything for you and your family of all ages. pools n slides for little ones, jumpers, floating slides, lunch, bars, with beautiful views of ocean.
This trip was just as advertised. The check-in kiosk was easy to find from the cruise terminal, transportation to and from was reliable and the park was clean and fun for all ages!
Fun, relaxing, and very kid friendly. Plenty for the kids to do while the adults can relax on the beach with drinks and fun watching kids have a great time!!! Food was great, and the staff is very good!! Nice safe environment.
Great experience! Loved the food and drinks. Lots of fun activities included in pricing. The water gym could be a little closer to the shore.
We arrived by boat NCL at the International Pier, which is the farthest pier from the water park. Those coming in on a Carnival boat arrive at the closest pier, Puerta Maya Pier, to the water park. If you arrive at Punta Langosta Pier, this is the middle pier. Just to help you know where you will arrive at in comparison to the water park. We did not get the transportation package or Buffet. We got a taxi from the pier for 20 tip for the four of us. On the way back the taxi charge was 18 tip for four of us. Not sure why the difference. There were lots of taxis available on both ends of the trip so not a problem to find one. The weather was questionable when the boat docked at port, but it cleared up for a great day at the beach. So we were not to much of a hurry to leave the boat until about 9:30. We got to Playa Mia by 10:00 am. Once you pass through the shops there, you will come to the reservation both that will have your reservation confirmation. You get your wrist band for what you selected and your on your way for exploration and fun. There was lots of options for everyone in our group to find something to do for the day. The floating island of swimming objects was something else. You need to try that out. Umbrellas are available for rent for 7.50 for the day includes a 4 deposit-refundable when you leave just let the guys know when you are leaving. I would suggest getting one for the sun is intense here and not much shade. We stayed until 3:00. It was a great day at the beach. The items they promised to be there were as included in the price. They were up front with what had additional fees, no surprises. I like that. We would consider doing this again. Just to sit back on the beach and talk to fellow travelers is fun too. If your looking for hair braiding or a massage, they were available here too.
Enjoyed a peaceful day, paddle boat ride, water slide and park, drinks and beach. The best part was the inflatabl play place in the middle of the ocean. Scarry yet fun!
Playa Mia was PERFECT for my family. The kids loved the water obstacle course, my husband loved the food, and I loved to soak up the rays on the lounge chairs. We really enjoyed snorkeling as well. The guys took us out to two amazing reefs where we saw so many fish. My kids were amazed as this was their first time snorkeling. I recommend this place to anyone and highly recommend snorkeling here since it's not overcrowded and seems more personable. It was well worth the price and we will definitely be back to visit again.
Great Tour! Once I was able to find the tour desk, it was a total breeze, getting to the resort, enjoying the day and transporting back to the boat! I would highly recommend this excursion!
Great place. It was nice and clean. Food was good and hot.
The swim to the water playground is long, but we had a great time.
We had a great time at Playa Mia.We frequent this place and we are never disappointed. We will be back.I recommend Playa Mia to anyone who wants a laid back day at the beach.
The beach was great and the water activities thrilling. The buffet was ok- although not memorable, it was filling. The staff were very pleasant, helpful and courteous.
We had a blast! Since we were coming from a cruise line, it was REALLY nice to be able to get a head start. We were out on the beach (and on the water activities) for quite awhile before the biggest cruise groups arrived there - considering it got crowded later, we were thankful for the extra time!
We had a great time using the beach and pool facilities! It was my son's first time on the beach and he loved it. Everyone was accommodating. My only gripe is that the food buffet is not really all that appetizing. But I didn't expect much as I am familiar with these all-inclusive beach resort buffets. The drinks were just ok as well. All in all we had a good time and everything was as I expected. I would visit again.
We always enjoy Playa Mia. The food and drinks are always good and the service is prompt. We went parasailing this trip and it was great. My wife went kayacking.

Very friendly service by all staff members. Quick process once we arrived at meeting point. The waterpark/food/beverages/activities where awesome!!! Everything was great!!!
Great day at the beach. Food was really good. My kids enjoyed the inflatable obstacle course in the water as well as the organized games played on the beach.
We fully enjoyed this trip, the service to and from the port was fast. The food that was served was decent, I did't expect much so it was better than expected. The drinks from the open bar were very basic but they did the job. The beach looked great, however I didn't like that the coral was so close that you couldn't walk out far without stepping on it but that's Mother Nature's doing. The water activity floats were fun and challenging. We had to swim out to them and the have energy to actually get up and play on them. We did have fun once we were out there but there wasn't enough there to make you want to stay too long. The water was nice and it's always fun swimming with the fish. I also liked the little water park. It's not much but it's an added bonus. We got on the water slide about 5 times. We hung out in the pool and took pictures with the Parrot and the Iguana. Overall we had a great time. There were a few things we could have complained about but when you're on vacation you should really just enjoy as much as you can and overlook the minor things. I also want to add that I was happy that the restrooms were very clean, this isn't always the case when you are out at new locations but it's very important to me.
There were plenty of things to keep us occupied and relaxing enough for us to do nothing. Food and drinks were plentiful.
