The ruins were very different from others I have been to - Belize, Costa Maya, Chichen Itza. There's a lot more to see and was able to show many different aspects of Mayan life, their livelihood, art, culture. Also, our Mayan guide was excellent and had a lot of deep knowledge.

If you are traveling within a few hours of Tulum, these ruins are a must see. Also, there is a great beach adjacent and available to visitors, though I did not personally visit the beach.

In spite of a low booking count for this tour, Tulum Express the tour operator came through with a memorable experience. The tour guide, Ernesto, was personable, informed, and a true pleasure to travel with. At every point of the day, I felt Ernesto's only goal was to ensure a pleasurable experience for me.

Arriving at Tulum, I was turned over to a local guide, Santiago. Santiago's father had worked on some of the early restoration work at Tulum. As such, he was extremely knowledgeable, perhaps more so than other guides. Santiago also modified the standard tour to show some things of special interest to me personally.

Even the van driver, Julio, was professional and courteous.

Tulum Express, the contracting provider for Viator.com, provided first rate service and people at a more than reasonable rate.

Booking this excursion was very easy, so was the instructions on how and where to meet the tour guide. Getting from Cozumel to Tulum on the mainland was well organized. Our tour guide at Tulum was very informative and his English was very good. The site was not to packed with people which was great. The view and the beach was just amazing!

Everything was great! We were given a tour guide for an hour then able to do our own thing afterwards. We were able to swim in the beach at the bottom of the ruins also. On our way back to Cozumel we were given a subway lunch and we were back to the ship on time!

We were vacationing in Cozumel for a week and wanted to visit the ruins at Tulum so we signed up to take this tour. We met our guide at the pier and took the ferry over to the mainland. Once at Tulum, we were met by a guide who took us through the ruins. Our guide was very knowledgeable and the tour and free time to continue our visit was great. On the van ride back to the ferry, we were given our Subway lunch, which was good. Overall, we had a great time.

Our tour guide was great and full of information. We decided to book through Viator instead of our cruise line and I think it was the best decision ever. We took a short taxi ride to the Ferry where we met our tour guide. We were in a smaller group, which was really nice.

we were the only couple on the tour. It was not cancelled. The tour guide was personable and knowledgeable. He made the experience enjoyable in every way. At Tulum we were given a special guide who took us through the site. Again we were the only couple on the tour. He was an expert and made the tour exceptional. The only improvement would be to supply the subway sandwiches right before the tour at Tulum. We thought 3:45 was a little too late for lunch.
