Head to the Marble Mountains and the Son Tra Peninsula on this half-day tour from Da Nang. You’ll visit mysterious caves hidden within and see the 220-foot-high (67-meter) marble Bodhisattva statue that resides at Ling Ung Pagoda. Enjoy sweeping views and visit Non Nuoc, a centuries-old stone carving village. Round-trip hotel transport included.
The tour and tour guide were informative. But the tour itself was overpriced.
Starting the day going to Son Tra Peninsula and the Lady Buddha Statue. The views of the City and Marble Mountain here are simply spectacular.
Moving onto Marble Mountain itself, stopping at shops at the base to see items they make form the marble collected from the mountain Pricey, but well worth it. Then up onto the mountain leading up to the Pagoda and then up through the caves to se even more spectacular views from the top of the mountain.
Eric, our tour guide, was very informative and had a lot of time for our questions and photos.
This is a highly recommended tour for anyone who visits this area
This tour was amazing!
Excellent tour, the guide was fabulous, happily answered our questions and didn't have a problem with us wanting to change the tour around with Marble Mountain after Son Tra Peninsula we were told to see Marble Mountain around midday - and are so glad we did as the sun streaming through the cave was stunning. He was very respectful and helpful with my being a bit slow, he didn't know I have MS, which isn't a big problem but heat can be an issue, and wow was it hot!.
Absolutely recommend this tour.
Our guide, Ming, picked us up from the hotel on time. He was very friendly and accommodating throughout the entire trip. He told many fun facts and even assisted us going up and down the many stairs. He could speak English quite well and answered all of our questions. Beautiful trip! It was the highlight of our Da Nang stay.
Unfortunately we did this tour in a heavy rain with ponchos and umbrellas. Our shoes and socks were soaked. It was very difficult to get any photos really. The cave tour was slippery marble steps and some rooms were closed due to flooding. The guide spoke good English but rushed through the tour and started talking about the next point of interest before the whole group was there. We hit Danang in a tropical storm period unfortunately. I would definitely recommend this tour in better weather though.
The tour was fun and extremely educational. Our tour guide spoke very good English and was filled with local knowledge. The trip up Marble Mountain was great with the exception of all of the steps we had to climb. I would recommend this tour to anyone.
