It was a spur-of-the-moment decision to take this tour! We had a free day whilst visiting Darwin. It was brilliant. The guide was very well-informed of the region and the wildlife, and the wetlands themselves were inspiring. Birdlife in abundance, which my partner loved, being a bird-watcher, and surrounded continually by the lotus, in flower, and standing tall in the water. We saw the sea eagle multiple times, which I never tired of. One croc. Great lunch provided. I would absolutely recommend this trip to anyone who loves wildlife, birds, or simply meandering through lotus water gardens.
The wet lands tour was so full of animals from the smallest birds to the largest with teeth. Our guide chris really knew the animals and she spotted them with ease. This tour is a good length and starting at 9am and finishing 530 instead most starting at 6 am and not finishing till 7 pm. A good one for the photographic tour.
Wonderful tour. Sean was a great guide. Saw a number of crocs and lots of birds.
Great tour saw plenty of birds that we had not seen at Kakadu. Great alternative to Kakadu if you only have limited time. Our guide, Evan was outstanding. Very knowledgeable and happy to get the boat in as close as possible so we could get even better pictures.
Great tour guide , small group, no recorded talks, loads of wild life perfect day
Expertly organised, excellent commentary thank you Evan - appreciated your humour also, beautiful scenery, excellent food and abundant wildlife - what more could you ask for?

What an adventure on the Corroboree Billabong! We spent an amazing two hours on the boat traversing the billabong and saw six crocodiles, both freshies and salties. Our guide Evan was very personable and professional and made the trip especially memorable. We enjoyed a salad lunch while on the boat, watching the birds that live in the wetlands fly overhead, build their nests and hunt for food. I would recommend this excursion and a visit to the wetlands of the Northern Territory. The bus ride was long but well worth the effort. Hats off the Evan!

What an amazing tour. We saw many crocodiles and birds, including Willy Wag Tail fledgelings making their first flights. But the grande finale was a crocodile with a wallaby in its jaws!!!
Unbelievable experience, Evan was an amazing guide providing an excellent experience that will be remembered for a lifetime.
The entire day was managed professionally and with a minimum of fuss, lunch was fantastic and enjoyed amongst surroundings that were truly breathtaking.
We would do this tour again !!!
This was the highlight of our Darwin visit. What a treasure these wetlands are. In the 2.5 hour cruise we saw every animal mentioned on the brouchure, in a relaxing atmosphere, scrumptious salad bowl lunch, plenty of cool water and a very knowlegeable and friendly guide Evan who made sure we had plenty of photo opportunities. Excellent!
Billabong cruise lovely. Great photos e.g. jabiru and sea-eagle. Saw couple of salties. Evan was very informative and considerate in providing photo opportunities.

The tour was great, the guide was most informative and gave an excellent commentary from the moment we were picked up till we returned. The meal provided was great too.
We had a wonderful day, we would highly recommend this day trip well worth it .
My wife and I would like to thank Evan our driver , firstly his knowledge shows his interest in the area
and secondly the effort he put in to try and make our day memorable was super
Excellent tour leader driver, boatman, commentator all in one ,Evan, made this good tour really excellent. We learned a bit about Darwin, and about all the spots on the way to Corroboree Billabong. We then loaded onto a boat, were given our lunch boxes, and treated to good, informed commentary from our guide who plainly loves the natural outdoor life. Saw plenty of birdlife and several crocs.
Lovely day - viewing wildlife in their natural habitat. Commentary provided was excellent.
Murray, our bus/boat driver was entertaining and very knowledgeable on the local wildlife and flora. Lunch was delicious and consisted of different varieties of cold cuts and a salad. It was a relaxing and enjoyable cruise. There was plenty of birdlife to see and photograph, plus we also saw several crocs. Murray knew where the crocs would be located and we weren't disappointed. This tour is suitable for all ages, and wouldn't be strenuous for the elderly. Very happy with the tour.
Such a great day. Murray, our driver and guide was so informative. Saw many birds and lots of crocodiles close up. A wonderful experience.
Our guide, Murray, gave us a steady stream of information about Darwin and its surrounds while driving down the road to Corroboree Billabong. On the boat, he was quick to spot--and follow or stop as indicated--numerous birds and crocs. We were lucky that a dead water buffalo had attracted a large number of crocs, so we got many close-up views of the big creatures. The lunch provided was healthy and delicious--salad and cold cuts. This trip was a highlight of our trip to Darwin!
Fabulous trip. We loved it! Murray was a great guide, informative and interesting. He certainly seemed to be very much in touch with the local flora, fauna and birdlife. The cruise gets a very positive YES from us.
Worth the time to see the sights and get very close to some very large crocs.
For those with just a day to spare, this is a good tour with lots of wildlife to see and not much time in a bus or troopie. Our guide was most informative and entertaining. Great fresh salad for lunch with dietary needs taken into account.
