Excellent trip....interesting and informative narration by the driver/guide and a comprehensive look at lots of the sights and sites related to the WW2 bombing of Darwin by the Japanese. Harbour Cruise was great....perfect weather and great information on the ships etc that were sunk on that tragic first attack. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Would recommend strongly for anyone looking to learn a little more about our wartime history.

This tour and Darwin Afternoon Sightseeing Tour seriously overlapped. The difference between them, in my opinion, one took you to the military museum and the other to the aviation museum. The tour was good but I was disappointed we did not stop, get out and take photos on the esplanade where the memorial etc were. We had to go back in our own time to get photos. The tour guide was very informative, but we had heard most of it the previous day when we did the Darwin Afternoon Sightseeing Tour. Be aware this tour is mostly a drive by tour. You get out at the museum and the ammunition bunker and thats it. The mini bus pulled up at sites, explained about the circumstances whilst we sat in the bus then moved on.
