Not Your Typica Hiking Experience
Kathryn_J, Aug 2022
Alexis was our guide. She communicated via text about pick up times and gave updates when needed. The hike was great and very educational. We stopped many times along the trail learning about trees, berries, what causes scarring on the Aspen trees and the history of the area. We foraged for blueberries, crowberries, lingenberries, rose hips and cranberries. They were delicious! The next day my husband and I walked from our hotel to the rail station. I found the berries along the way and, of course, put my new knowledge to the test and foraged along the way. I highly recommend this tour!

Poor customer care.
Don_B, Aug 2022
Could not do it for medical reasons and they would not refund money. Poor customer service. Bad attitude.
Response from Host, Aug 2022
Our company policy allows for a full refund if cancelled 3 days before your tour. After this date we cannot guarantee a refund. Last minute cancellations via Trip Advisor have been an issue in the past so we stopped allowing cancellations if booked through Trip Advisor.
Great walk
Rick_E, Jul 2022
Our guide, Claudia, was extremely knowledgeable about the flora and fauna. She made the trip interesting, interactive and fun. I had hoped for more walking and less talking, but what we got was a very enjoyable experience.
Best "tour" experience while I was in Denali
Laura_M, Jul 2022
Claire was very knowledgeable and since I was the only one on the walk that day, she adjusted her pace and amount of knowledge sharing to me. She was very responsive and a kind human being. Thank you Claire!

Don’t waste your money
Thomas_J, Jul 2022
This tour is a waste of money. The tour guide was very nice and informative. She was great. The tour however was a waste of $300.00. We basically did a mile each way walk through the forest to a lake. Turned around and walked back. The worst part was the path was right next to our Hotel and could have been done unguided like most people we saw along the trail and we could have put the $300 toward other things on out Bucket list once in a lifetime family Vacation. Again the guide was terrific This issue is for sure with the Tour company.
Response from Host, Jul 2022
We are sorry you did not feel satisfied with this tour. In all of our advertising we do inform travelers this is a narrated, educational tour about the park on trails that are easily accessed by the public. We do not have access to special trails that the public does not have access to. Typically, we do not take groups staying in the Villages to the Triple Lakes Trail because of the close proximity of the hotel to the trailhead but unfortunately this season construction traffic has made transportation into the park much more difficult and we feel that people would prefer to be walking on trails rather than sitting in traffic for their tour.
Great walk

Denali lakes and flora walking tour
Reggie_W, May 2022
Observing and learning about the flora and fauna of the area was very interesting, especially when learning how the First Nation people used these limited resources to survive and even thrive. The view of the lake with reflection of the mountains was absolutely spectacular!
I know so much more after this hike.
Barbara_T, May 2022
Vicky was very knowledgeable of the wildlife, plants and trees. We were able to taste wild cranberries along the trail. It was such an interesting hike!
Great hike
Robert_S, Aug 2021
We were a small group of 4 seniors (ages 65-70). Jeremy was our guide. He was friendly, very knowledgeable and encouraged questions. The pacing of the hike was perfect with frequent stops to explain things. We were very pleased.
Relax, your guide has bear spray and knows how to use it.
Charles_C, Aug 2021
Our guide was familiar with plants and trees and pointed out growing seasons. She was familiar with animals and their habits. We spotted red squirrels, grew jay, and a golden eagle. We didn't see moose or bear but evidence they had been there.
A walk in the Tiga
John_S, Aug 2021
Excellent walk, guide walked at a good speed and was very informative. Learned about the Tiga and how it’s thickness affects the growth of the trees.
Awesome Guided Hike
Dallas_H, Aug 2021
On time pick up, fantastic tour guide who was very knowledgeable and passionate about the area. He provided additional info about places to eat, shop and dropped us off at our next hike. We had a great time, I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.
Amazing!
Justin_Z, Jul 2021
Jeff made the experience amazing. Can't wait to come back and do a different trail! I definitely recommend this activity to everyone!
Lots of walking, little info.
G_brow_1755, Jul 2021
Excepted a little more than a hike on a trail that we could have taken on our own. Would like to have had more in the way of a natural history hike.
Fantastic hike!
Ann_T, Jul 2021
Our guide showed up on time, in a passenger van with rain coats and trekking poles for anyone who wanted them. Jeff was super nice and knew a really lot about all the plants and animals in Denali. The time went by far too fast. The hike was gentle slopes through amazing forest areas.
