What You Can Expect

Enjoy convenient pickup from your Denali accommodations, then transfer to the Healy River State Airport.

After an orientation and safety briefing from your pilot, climb into the plane and strap on your seatbelt. Take off along the spine of the Alaskan Range, from which you will see Muldrow Glacier and the Wickersham Wall. Snap aerial photos of glacial valleys, untouched alpine tundra, and winding rivers.

During the course of the 1.5-hour flight, you'll cover almost 200 miles (322 km) of wilderness, including the Magic Bus and the Stampede Trail (weather permitting.) Fly in close proximity to the 20,237-foot-tall (6168 meters) Denali — North America’s highest peak.

Land back at the airport and head back to your hotel for drop-off.

Customer Reviews

5 star rating: Highly Recommended June 2016

Stampede Aviation provided a terrific experience for us. They were sensitive to the somewhat cloudy conditions, and went out of their way to provide a stellar view of Denali as well as a informative overview of the local history and geology. I would highly recommend this tour.
