Yasawa Islands Day Cruise with Snorkeling and Lunch

Yasawa Islands Day Cruise with Snorkeling and Lunch

Fiji's remote and rugged Yasawa Islands make up a volcanic archipelago consisting of six main islands and numerous smaller islets. On this day cruise from Port Denarau Marina, located 20 minutes from Nadi International Airport, you'll discover soaring mountain ranges, stunning white-sand beaches and amazing snorkeling right off the shoreline.

Board your high-speed catamaran at the marina and cruise for several hours through the Yasawa Islands before arriving at your chosen island resort: Octopus Resort on Waya Island or Botaira Beach Resort on Naviti Island. En route, soak up incredible views of the different islands with their sparkling bays, beautiful beaches and dramatic volcanic features. On arrival, settle into ‘island time’ and do as much or as little as you like! (See resort descriptions in Itinerary below.)

Octopus Resort (4 Hours on Waya Island)
Arrive at Waya Island after an approximate 2.5-hour catamaran ride from Port Denarau. Set on a stunning white-sand beach, the Octopus Resort has a spectacular coral reef just offshore. With 4 hours to spend at the resort, grab a cocktail (own expense) and soak up the sun by the swimming pool, or snorkel with provided equipment right off the beach. Scuba diving is available at an additional cost (payable direct). Be mesmerized by the view overlooking gorgeous Likuliku Bay and enjoy a delicious à la carte lunch at the restaurant, known for its fresh catch-of-the-day fish. When it's time, board the catamaran back to Port Denarau Marina.

Botaira Beach Resort (2.5 Hours on Naviti Island)
Naviti Island, situated near the end of the Yasawa Island archipelago, provides a secluded resort location. The Botaira Beach Resort is set on a sandy beach that sweeps the width of the bay. After an approximate 3.25-hour catamaran ride you have about 2.5 hours to wander the secluded beach, snorkel or scuba dive the reef full of colorful fish (scuba diving is an additional cost, payable direct). Enjoy a 2-course seafood lunch before you board the catamaran for your return trip to Port Denarau Marina.

Paradise is an understatement! The cruise over to Yasawa was fantastic! Beautiful clear blue skies, nice breeze as well skirted thru the ocean gazing at many different Islands for roughly about a two hour catamaran ride. As we approached the Island we were greeted by Fijans singing as they welcomed us. We got settled and headed for our snorkeling gear to start our day at sea. Crystal clear turquoise warm waters and a beautiful marine life of vibrant life below sea. We must have snorkeled for about two hours and boy were we exhausted afterwards which only led us to enjoy a quick nap in one of many hammocks comfortably on the Island. Followed by a great lunch and tropical drinks delight. I couldn't imagine a more enjoyable way to spend my afternoon!!! Awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....

Excellent day out cruising the islands, really good hospitality on the boat, the service and experience at Bodaira was second to none. The snorkelling at Bodaira was the best we experienced for our whole holiday in Fiji.

The trip was absolutely great. The cruise itself was really nice as we got to see so many beautiful islands. Octopus resort is stunning. The welcome with the staff singing and greeting us was unexpected and make you feel comfortable right from the begining. The snorkeling was good, lots of fish but the corals were not that nice., a bit lifeless an colorless. Food was really good and served incredibly fast. I highly recommand this cruise, probably one of the best you can do. I repeat, Octopus is stunning !

Alot included in the day. Beautiful part of the world, glad inhale seem a glimpse of it. Very friendly people. Amazing colours in the water, purples in the deep, topaz and aqua along the shore. Trips on the tender to shore, and to wait for the ferry were alot of fun too. Look forward to next trip.
