The hike itself wasn’t too difficult, it’s 4.6 miles but it is VERY rocky!
Overall beautiful scenery but be aware of mixed age groups and hiking ability.
The hike took around 3 hours and was not too strenuous.

Amazing tour
Gabriel_A, Mar 2023
What an awesome day we had at the park. Ty was an incredible guide. He made sure we were all good throughout the hike, he knew a lot of facts about the place. Lunch was great. Now I want to come back during the summer to see how the place changes.
Response from Host, Mar 2023

Great tour, great guide
Sanni_H, Mar 2023
Tie was an amazing guide! Very friendly and considerate. He also told a lot of interesting information about the area and, for example, wildlife. The trip exceeded my expectations.
Response from Host, Mar 2023
Hi Sanni! Ty is a tour guide prodigy! Thanks for taking the time to recognize his hard work and effort, we're truly lucky to have him on our team. We're happy to hear you and your group had such a successful hiking trip in the National Park!
15 stars for Kyle
Allison_W, Mar 2023
Kyle was informative, kept us all safe and entertained throughout the journey to the Rockies and while on the trail. He gave us many suggestions of what to do during our stay in Colorado.
Response from Host, Mar 2023
Hi Allison! Kyle has done all of our state's 58 14'ers, meaning you couldn't be in better hands! We appreciate you taking this trip with us, and kudos on completing the hike, it's no easy feat!
Amazing trip, Dylan was...
Diego_L, Mar 2023
Amazing trip, Dylan was an incredible guide, great attitude and explained everything we asked. We went through a trail filled with snow, view frozen rivers and had a great time. Definitely recommend, the best rocky mountain tour to enjoy it's beauty.
Response from Host, Mar 2023
Hi Diego! I agree, the only way to truly appreciate these beautiful mountains is to immerse yourself! Pat yourself on the back, the snow can be a turn off for most people, but the experience is like nothing else! We'd love to have an adventurer such as yourself back with us anytime, so keep us in mind!
Fantastic way to spend the day!
Katie_H, Feb 2023
Dylan was very knowledgeable and kept a great pace that allowed us to appreciate what we were seeing, take photos, and yet keep moving all at the same time. The hike itself (Bierstadt Lake) was steep in the beginning but manageable, and was an awesome combination of “cliff” type views and forest hiking. Couple things to note - the exact hike taken may be different based on conditions. It takes almost 2 hrs to get from Denver to the hike, so expect the drive time. And finally, the veggie sandwich was amazing! I highly recommend this trip - it’s a fantastic way to spend the day and get a glimpse of Rocky Mountain National Park if you don’t have multiple days to explore!
Response from Host, Feb 2023
Thank you for sharing your feedback on your tour! We’re so pleased to hear that you had a memorable experience with Dylan in the Rocky Mountain National Park. We hope you’ll join us again the next time you’re in town!
Winter Hike
Callum_B, Feb 2023
Jed was a great guide, he gave a load of interesting facts throughout the entire experience. The route was amazing with some of the best views I've ever seen. Would definitely recommend to anyone in or near the area.
A Gem of a time
Barbra_C, Jan 2023
I really enjoyed this tour. It was a great time. Our guide Jed was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of history and info about the area and plant life. We took the trail to Gem Lake, which was frozen solid. He was also very accommodating for the group and made sure to take frequent stops along the trail which was a bit challenging at times for those of us that don’t normally hike. We also had a great lunch and spent some time in Estes Park.
Last Hike of 2022
NielPatrick_C, Jan 2023
It was still snowing up in the mountains when we got there at the base so Dylan, our guide got us to a safer starting point and route. We saw elks grazing at the base, no eagles or hawks sighted though. It was a fun hike in the snow and the last stop was at Gem Lake which was frozen. Overall, I had fun and would do another hike in the future.
Response from Host, Jan 2023

Rocky Mountain Hike
Dawn_W, Nov 2022
Our hiking trip was wonderful. Paul was an excellent guide, with lots of hiking experience. It was an easy hike of about 4 miles, reaching 9100 feet. We had a recent snowfall, so the scenery was extra spectacular.

Izzy was the tour guide for my hike and she was absolutely amazing! She gave some great insights about the area during our drive and recommendations in things to do. She kept the energy up even as we were all getting tired near the end! This tour is a great way to experience the beautiful nature around Denver.
Unbelievable views
Holly_S, Nov 2022
Beautiful hike. Amazing views. Definitely need hiking boots but our guide stopped in Estes Park for our group to rent boots. Pretty reasonably priced.
Response from Host, Nov 2022
Hi Holly! Thanks for taking the time to leave us this review, and especially want to thank you for the tip, I'm sure someone will find it helpful. We'd love to have you back so don't be a stranger!
Excellent experience and views!
Lynn_K, Nov 2022
Our guide Clyde was so knowledgeable about tips for adjusting to the high altitude, flora and fauna of the area, other areas to visit, and places to eat. He showed us incredible spots around several lakes, and we even spotted elk! Clyde was prepared with Yeti traps for each of us as it had just snowed the day before, also with chains/sand for icy driving conditions. And I loved my lunch that catered to my dietary restrictions!
Beautiful views, awesome guide
