Known as the 'Garden City,' the World Heritage-listed Al Ain is one of the oldest continually inhabited settlements in the world, famous for its date palm oasis and vegetable farms made possible by a sophisticated 3,000-year-old irrigation system.
Pass by Hili City, and the largest camel market in the United Arab Emirates. Continue to the Al Ain National Museum, which has exhibits on the history and archaeology of the region, as well as displays of traditional jewelry and clothing. Nearby, you'll see Al Jahili Fort, built in 1890 for a sheikh. The fort's stunning architecture provides great photo ops.
Next, drive to Jebel Hafeet, a picturesque jagged mountain with a long winding road that snakes up the slopes. Then visit some local shops before returning to Dubai.
