What You Can Expect

Burj Khalifa 'At the Top SKY' Entrance Ticket

Enjoy the view from the luxury lounges

On the day head inside The Dubai Mall, home to the entrance to the Burj Khalifa. Enter the lower ground level and on arrival at the Burj, be shown into the luxurious lounge exclusively reserved for ‘At the Top SKY’ guests.

Be greeted by your welcoming guest host, and listen to fascinating facts and stories about the building as you savor fresh Arabian coffee and dates. Hear how the Burj Khalifa measures 2,716.5 feet (828 meters), making it the world’s tallest building.

Then, step inside the dedicated SKY elevator and glide upward at high speed to the observation deck as you watch the dazzling visual projections about the building and its construction.

Arrive at Level 125, one level above the public ‘At the Top’ observatory deck, and take in the 360-degree views. Use the viewfinders to zoom in on the sights, and gain a breathtaking, bird’s eye perspective of the city from the ‘Dubai – A Falcon’s Eye View’ video.

Return to the elevator and whizz up another 23 floors to Level 148 — the world’s highest observatory at 1,820 feet (555 meters) high.
Gawk at the unbroken views from the plush lounges and outdoor terrace; learn more Dubai’s landmarks from the huge, interactive video screen; and if you wish, buy SKY souvenirs (own expense) from the gift store.

After around an hour on Level 125 and Level 148, descend by elevator and chart the Burj Khalifa’s history through the interesting scale models and displays at the SKY exhibition.

Having explored the exhibition, Your experience ends when you leave the Burj Khalifa ending at Dubai Mall, or with a hotel drop-off if you've chosen to include round-trip hotel transfers.

We went to the 148, 125 and124 floors of the burn khalifa. The views were amazing even though there was a bit if a sandstorm blowing at the time.

We paid to go to the very top. Worth paying the extra money, no queuing at all. Went to the 125th floor and to the 148th floor. Fantastic views.

I'm glad we did the extra SKY: it was more comfortable and less crowded at that level. You will eventually go down to the regular At the Top level, but receive expedited access to the elevators when you want to leave: a definite plus, as there was quite a line otherwise. We wanted to be up there by sunset, but the usual haze in the winter months makes sunset unimpressive. However, it was nice to see the fountains starting at 6 pm, every 30 min. from above, but everyone else is crowding up to the windows too, so be prepared. It's still best to see them at ground level, which you can do once you leave.

It is absolutely worth the extra money to buy this ticket! You get VIP treatment upon arrival as you are escorted to a private room where they serve Arabian coffee, dates and baklava. When it's time to go up to the top, you are escorted past all of the long lines for the regular ticket holders to the elevators with no wait time. The elevator ride to the top is super cool all by itself. The elevator is completely dark and on the walls is a show telling you what height you are at and where other tall buildings in the world line up as you go. It's also the smoothest and fasted elevator we've ever been on. You go to the 125th floor and then take another elevator up to 148. The views are spectacular all around. We timed it so that we got up there in the daylight and got to see the sunset and the night lights come on across the city. Plus we got to see the dancing fountains from up there as well. This ticket also allows you to skip the lines to get back down. And let me say......it was a LONG line from 124 at that point and I imagine we would have waited for a good hour just to come back down if we didn't have the VIP ticket. Plus you get to go to 148, 147, 125 and 124. Although it's a lot of money for an elevator ride, it's worth it for the experience at the top of the tallest building in the world!

This was given as a gift and was well received. The couple went to the Burj as part of a three week trip to Australia and thought it was a brilliant start to their adventure. Walking past the queues was a massive plus for these tickets and as their time of travel was late afternoon they had 2.5 hrs, watched the sunset and saw Dubia in the dark. Highly enjoyable and recommended.

It was quite expensive to do the VIP experience but worth it to go to the top levels - would recommend booking in advance because lots of time slots were booked up and big queues. Great way to view the city from the highest building in the world

This particular tour takes you to an observation lounge located at a higher floor than the regular tour. The view is roughly the same for the two, but the higher level is significantly less crowded, and it is a lounge where you can sit by the windows and have some refreshments while watching the Dubai skyline. The tour hosts are really welcoming and make the tour enjoyable.

Loved every second of it. We booked the sunset around 5:00pm in January but couldn't really see to much because of the weather. But that didn't matter, it was a great view! We had no line and were rushed up to the top after a little reception time.
