We arrived in Dubai by cruise ship around noon and got to our hotel at 1:30. We were staying one night but wanted to do the Burj Khalifa tour the day we arrived so we booked this in advance for 5:00 p.m. to make sure we had enough time to get there. My wife is in a wheelchair and we arrived at the ticket counter about 3:30 and asked if we could get in early. They let us in right away and let us use the wheelchair lines and entrance. From the cruise port, it looked like the sky was really hazy, almost like a sand storm, but when we got to the Sky observation deck on the 148th floor, the visibility was very good. There weren't many people on the Sky level which was nice. I'm guessing that was due to the much higher entrance fee. They give you some snacks and something to drink and they have nice lounge chairs. You have a fantastic view in all directions, some through windows and some from the outside deck where there are small spaces you can use for taking photos without glass in the way. The glass is clean but can cause some reflections in some areas. After enjoying the view for almost an hour, we took the elevator down to the At the Top 125th floor level. You can also use the outdoor deck on the 124th floor. These decks were much more crowded than the Sky deck and included the gift shop and several attractions like virtual reality booths. Seeing the Burj Dubai has been on my bucket list since it opened in 2010 and I wasn't disappointed. Booking the tour through Viator went without a hitch. After our time in the observations decks, we had dinner in the Dubai Mall and then watched two fountain shows. In between the fountain shows, the Burj Khalifa is lit up with many computerized designs and colors.
Great views!!! It is worth while paying a little extra to go up to level 148. It is less busy and you have an express lift that takes you up right away and you don't have to stand in the queue.
Great tour. Staff didn’t give us any trouble at all for being slightly late. Traffic in Dubai is bad, give yourself lots of time. It is very spead out and can take a long time to get where you need to go.
100 this should be your 1 tour choice. Don't skimp out - pay the extra and go to the 148th floor. Totally worth it. We had a beautiful sunny day and you literally can see for miles and miles. Suggest afternoons as the haze will have burned off.
Very relax tour. Efficient staff. Stunning view from the 148th floor !
Just the best way to view Dubai from the Burj Khalifa. Treated very special. Loved the experience. Felt completely safe the entire time.
Definitely worth the money to observe the views of this amazing city from the world's tallest building.
Great experience. Nice viewing platform.
Superb tour and well worth the extra to go to Level 148. Apart from having to queue to get your ticket which was a shame we then bypassed all queues and were well looked after. The views are stunning and one of those 'have to do' things on our list.
Just make sure you arrive early as the Dubai Mall is huge and finding the Burj Khalifa takes time.
