What You Can Expect

Dubai Combo: Helicopter Flight and City Tour

See the city of Dubai from both air and land!

Dubai Helicopter Flight (15 minutes):
Travel independently to the Atlantis, The Palm hotel, on the palm tree-shaped The Palm archipelago at Jumeirah.
Check in for your shared flight, get a safety briefing, and climb aboard your state-of-the-art helicopter. Settle into your comfortable seat — either next to the pilot or in the four seats to the rear — and thrill as your helicopter whirrs up into the sky.
Make out the fronds and trunk of The Palm below and soar past the skyscrapers of downtown Dubai as your pilot identifies the main landmarks. Ogle the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, and gaze down at the striking Burj Al-Arab hotel, rising like a billowing sail from an islet off Jumeirah Beach.
Then, head over the Arabian Gulf to The World, a group of artificial sandy islands built in the shape of a world map. Take snaps of the island ‘countries’ below and then soar back to the Atlantis.
After touching down here, make your own way back to your Dubai hotel, where your city tour begins in the afternoon of the same day.

City Tour (5 hours):
Start your 5-hour tour with an afternoon pickup from your central Dubai hotel. Meet your guide, hop inside your air-conditioned coach and set off to discover Dubai’s highlights.
As you travel, hear about Dubai’s rise from fishing port to cosmopolitan city on the back of the discovery of oil in the 1950s and 1960s. Learn about the city’s heritage and the futuristic architecture that has made it one of the world’s most glamorous destinations. Drive past the swanky villas of The Palm archipelago and pose for photos outside its crowning glory: the gigantic Atlantis, The Palm hotel. Stop again for photos at the Burj Al-Arab, and then visit Jumeirah Mosque — one of only a handful of local mosques open to non-Muslims.
Admire the lavish interior, and then continue to Dubai Museum, set inside 18th-century Al Fahidi Fort. With your guide, stroll around the artifacts and displays, including a traditional dhow (Arabic sail boat) and replica souk and Bedouin camp.
After exploring here, your tour comes to an end with a drop-off at your hotel.

If you have extra bucks to splurge then this is worth it. The helicopter ride was great but goes by quick 15 mins and it was hazy when we were there so you cant see much of the skyline all at one but nonetheless it was a pretty insane view. The city tour was good too although I wish we could have gone into the Mosque however they do take you to Dubai Museum and the Souks which are worth it to have a tour guide. Overall good experience.
