Why Travelers Choose This Tour
Short stops mean that this tour fits as much as possible into one morning—ideal for first-time visitors.
After pickup from your Dubai hotel, travel by air-conditioned vehicle to your first landmark: Dubai Marina, where high-rise residences frame an artificial waterway.
View the palm-dotted Dubai Marina Walk, and admire the Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), where cloud-piercing residential towers gaze over the Arabian Gulf. Continue to palm-shaped Palm Jumeirah island, and view the upscale boulevards of villas here before snapping photos of the sail-shaped Burj Al Arab hotel.
Call at the Blue Mosque, modeled on Istanbul’s Blue Mosque, and enjoy a guided interior tour (subject to prayer times and festival closures) to admire its Ottoman-inspired architecture. Marvel at the Burj Khalifa, the planet’s tallest building, and Dubai Mall, and pass landmarks including the Dubai World Trade Center and royal palace on route to old Dubai.
Here, discover the wind towers and courtyards of Al Bastakiya, Dubai’s oldest quarter, and chart the city’s history at Dubai Museum. Take in the Heritage Village and Souk Al Kabeer, and ride an abra across Dubai Creek to Deira’s souks. Stroll through the traditional Gold Souk and Spice Souk, perhaps purchasing goodies (own expense) on route.
Your tour then finishes back at the original start point.
This tour was okay though not as long as advertised. It felt very rushed, we found it hard to keep up with the guide in the old city. Most of the places we went were just passing by or very quick photo stops. If we had have been picked up at 8am like it said on the booking instead of 9.40 am, then it would not have been so rushed. We were dropped back at the hotel at 1.30pm, so much for a 5 hour tour. I went back to the old city the next day myself so I could have a good look around.
Thanks for your feedback. We need to look this another angle. The crowd at the museum is beyond the control of the tour guide and management of museum. The Museum is so beautiful therefore there is a big demand. Lot of companies do not take the guest into the museum due to this reason, only companies having licensed tour guide enter the museum. For those who skip the museum visit the tours are much shorter. We do not bother the loss of time rather committed to offer complete tour. Regards to pick we hope you know where your hotel is. We are among those few company offering pick up from nook and corner of Dubai. We expected an appreciation.
This trip was amazing! We saw a great variety of the sights in Dubai over about six hours, from souks and mosques and a traditional boat ride through to museums, the Palm. beaches and spectacular views. Although we covered a lot of ground we never felt rushed. We took the tour that visited inside the mosque which was very beautiful and well worth seeing. The day was very hot and humid and we really appreciated having access to an air conditioned van with cold water supplied. The guide (unfortunately I can't recall his name but we did the tour on 29/9/18) had excellent knowledge of local information and some great stories and was very happy to answer our many questions. I would thoroughly recommend this trip.
This tour was perfect for someone who is first time in Dubai. It gives you an overview of the new and old Dubai. The highlight was the visit to the Blue Mosque, one of the three mosques in UAE that opens to non muslin visitors. Our tour guide Ligi was amazing. Highly recommend this tour.
Good city tour with Whisky as the guide. Overall, we found out much more about Dubai than expected. We only give it a 4 star because the driver doesn't seem to be familiar with the roads and places, so the tour feels a bit rushed with 4.5hrs.
