This tour was beautiful and highly recommended! We cruised the Arabian Sea and were treated very well by the tour guides. Only warning is its a VERY long ride to and from the boat.

Nice tour. But be warned that it is an hour to 2-hour drive from the city to the port! The 3-person crew were very helpful, but it would have greatly helped if they spoke more English. We found ourselves trying to figure out what to do next, as they crew didn't explain much. I had wanted to do some fishing, but was told that the current was too strong. Others took advantage of snorkeling, swimming from a tiny beach, or riding the banana boat. Would recommend they play a variety of music selections on the boat. Not many of us were thrilled to hear non-stop Bollywood music. Overall, a great way to spend the day on the water and to get away from the crowded city life of Dubai.

This day trip is worth the money! I was visiting Dubai for 8 days so I had enough time to book this day trip to Oman. Please note it will take 3 hours to drive to Oman and 3 hours to drive back to Dubai. They do not tell you this in the car, but I read from other reviews so I was mentally prepared for this day trip. Come prepared water, snacks, I brought my airplane pillow and eye mask to take full advantage to sleep. Once you hit Oman, you pull over and go through customs. You have a nice view of the mountains and water while waiting for your paperwork prob took 30 minutes or so. Once you arrive to the port, they show you to your dhow. This large boat is perfect for a cruise up and down the Gulf of Oman. They played music I think lots of Indian songs since our boat was 75 Indian, but I enjoyed the Bollywood music!. The captain explains the days activities before you depart and you just sit back and relax on the pillows provided on the boat. I came to work on my tan, hopefully see some dolphins we saw some from afar and just enjoy the scenery. They provide you with a delicious lunch, chances to go on a small boat to the beach, snorkeling we saw a few schools of fish definitely not like Hawaii snorkeling so come mentally prepared haha lots of sea urchins!!, and my favorite park which was the banana boating. I laughed and screamed as the guys took us around the gulf. I also enjoyed diving and jumping off the boat into the water! Lastly, they take you by boat to see these beautiful caves. Thank you for a great tour!

Musandam is really beautiful and the boat felt very rustic but be warned that this is a very long day! The coach was an hour late but it ended up being 7am to 11pm day. Unfortunately a majority of the trip was travelling to and from on the coach.
The only thing I would suggest to the organisers ... is having English speaking staff, keeping people on the trip clued up on the plans/changes to the plans of the trip, cleaning the toilets on board and improving the meal which is provided.
Therefore the destination and activities were great but unfortunately that felt slightly overshadowed by the very long coach trip and the fact we didn't know what was going on half of the time because we didn't speak the same language as the drivers or staff on the boat.

We'll start with the positives. This tour offers a nice boat ride with a beautiful view of the mountains and the ocean. The activities offered during the ride, such as swimming, speed boating and snorkelling were a great way to spend a sunny afternoon. The food served on the boat was also tasty.
Unfortunately, this is not what sticks with you when you think of the tour as a whole. To start the day we were told to meet the bus at 7am. The driver was unreachable from 7-7:30am and the bus was very hard to find as it was waiting behind the building where we were told to meet. Neither the bus nor the drivers had any type of signage or identification showing that they were from the tour company and it was very difficult to communicate with the drivers as they did not speak English. When we finally found the bus it was 7:30am. There was a lot of confusion and disorganization when telling us which bus to take and then we proceeded to sit on the bus for an hour making us an hour and a half late for departure. This was due to the fact that one passenger had forgotten their passport and the company had the whole tour group wait for this one person. When we arrived close to the Oman border we stopped for a break that lasted another hour with no explanation for the stop. When we got to the boat we sat in port for another hour in the heat waiting for more people to arrive. As we were so late starting the cruise lunch was served late and after our early breakfast we were very hungry. Also due to the late start to the day, we were unable to see the caves which was one of the main reasons we chose this tour. Overall this tour was a disappointment and not worth the stress or the money.
